Who follows college football, and if so what is your favorite college???? University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Ranked #24 in the NATION
i like the huskers, NEbraska baby. I hope we make it somewhere nice this year and actually win.
The Black Shirts arent so hot anymore, but they are still looking pretty good. They should be able to get into a Bowl
#24 is what they are ranked now, however National College Hockey Back to Back champs what????? Besides the original U of M(Minnesota), has never been known for football, but they are doing good this year.
Hey, for a matter of fact it is a heck of a lot better than Pros. If you have satelite you should check it out sometime, has more meaning when you have a school team, its just like college football is better than pro. COLLEGE IS BETTER THAN PRO.
blah...college is soo boring...id rather watch the best of the best not the half ass college athletes...just my opinion
OK, well I enjoy college more they are only there for four years and they dont get paid to play they are playing it for the right reasons. So they arent holding out for more money and teams cant go out and buy players and build their team with money. In college you have to build it with prestige.
lol you can build a college team with "money"...ever heard of scholarships ...maybe not for hockey or baseball....but definitely for football and basketball
Yeh you can, but basically all D1 college players are on scholarship at their respective school. So they really arent buying them with scholarships.
not all that true...maybe to a certain extent in football...but i know for sure most schools wont give FULL scholarships for baseball...
Mizzou Tigers, #23 in the AP Top 25 this week, and likely to go higher when the beat the cupcake on their schedule this week and end up 4-0.
LOL, My cousin goes to Mizzou. Have you been to Columbia, that town needs some help, but the University is cool, and I like the M-I-Z-Z-O-U, when you are coming in towards the campus.
Actually, Columbia MO has consistently been ranked by Money magazine as one of the nation?s top places to live because of its excellent quality of life. Great economy, low crime, low unemployment, low cost of living, excellent schools, only 90min from KC and STL. http://houseandhome.msn.com/Move/BestPlacestoLive2003.aspx Personally, I wouldn't live there. I like being in a big league city, lots of shopping, etc and having an international airport in town.
Well from my experience there, I have seen plenty of people walking around in sweatpants, but I dont doubt it has low crime rate and everything like that. Just from my short experience I wasnt a big fan of the town, but the college is really kewl
