Information about the gameplay itself is still very limited, but here is what i've been able to uncover so far: Xbox Live supports eight players on a mountain together. A variety of new modes are planned, including: - Just ride - Compete for the #1 trick in every category imaginable. - King of the mountain - Trick off areas to tag them as your. The one with the most tags at the end of the run wins. - H-O-R-S-E - Out trick the other players or get tagged with a letter. First one to HORSE is an absolute loser. I am almost positive that I also read that you can make your own mountains and use those on LIVE. It's looking good so far, I am doing a bit of research into the Xgames format for snowboarding so that riders will progress through the rounds as they would in a real competition. Once the game comes out, I will know a lot more and will be able to start working with tris10 on the calculator. I'm not sure... we'll have to see when the game comes out. I have seen all the gameplay movies, but will need to actually spend a little time with the game to get all the details worked out. hmmmmm... i haven't check IGN in a while, I'll see if they have anything.
i saw some of the gameplay stuff as well and looks great. nothing really to different from the original, but the graphics are better.
its kinda the same but more arcadish. There is a new trick called a "butter" that is basicly the same as a manual in skateboarding. This will allow for more combos to be tied together and more points to be scored. This is as close to THPS as Xbox Live will ever get. They have said that the game will "feel" better to the masses and you won't have to make yourself get used to it as much in order to do well. I just can't wait to see the helicam as you are taken to the top, from the helicopter you are able to see others in the room go down the mountain in real time! Can't wait.

butter is an actual trick, Jussi Oksanen does it all the time into jumps, sounds like it will be totally awesome though. I know that I will be definitely getting this title.
ok, just to give you an update. I just got some really cool info on Amped 2 and can start to begin to put together a solid competition format. More details to come soon.
