So as everyone knows there are problems with the current NHL. Not much new there(Example: force field behind the net) but there's two problems that I haven't heard much talk about and maybe it's because I'm the only one to experience them. One of the issues I experience is sometimes when I wind up for a slapshot (usually happens when I'm sending the puck) instead of shooting the puck my guy will hold it on his backhand. I look at the replay and my analog stick is very slightly to the right where it's still in green area which I'm assuming would be the area where a shot would be made. Another issue I've had is the sauce up the boards. It works if I bank it up the boards but if I ever try a sauce straight up the boards my guy will instead make a normal pass which many times results in a costly turnover. I'm just trying to see if I'm the only one with these issues or if other people experience the same things I am.
To be honest it just sounds like a controller issue. The sauce thing you are talking about however happens a lot if you are saucing it while already next to the boards. If your stick is already too close to the boards it just makes your guy pass it normally and it's annoying as hell.
look like a thumb issues u may want to send your thumbs to the gym make them get a 6 pack love u brother.
The slapshot issue is due to you not hitting directly up so you are doing a fake slapshot then pulling it to your backhand. If you look at how your right thumb moves it will naturally curve to the right at you move up so it is either a controller dead spot issue or thumb movement issue. The same issue can take place by when you wind up drifting your thumb to the left and going to pull back instead of slapshot wind up and then hitting up and doing a wrists hot from pull back instead of a slapshot.
I get the slap shot thing but when I'm trying to pull the puck backhand It'll go for a clapper. Use the game controller tester on the xbox to see if you have crazy stickdrift.
