I'm not sure who had the better show or the show that was better directed at me "Kinect" at launch is gonna suck unless you use it for chat or menu navigation. I'm not really that hyped for Halo Reach and i've been soured by Fable's over promises. Thought the PS3 move could be cool for a few games (ie Tiger woods), but the other lineup with the exception of GT5 doesn't really stick out. Could care less about the PSP Nintendo had a pretty strong showing now that i think about it more. Great additions for core franchises plus the reveal of the 3DS Hmm tough choice
The Kinect and the new 360 that NO ONE knew about. I have heard about a slim 360 for months now but they've been giving a possibility for like 2 years now lol. Not only do they announce it, they let us know it's shipping THIS WEEK! Even without that though, it's all about the Kinect. I think there is sooooo much potential with this thing. So much that the gamespot "$150" price tag(not confirmed) doesn't bother me. I think there is potential here that isn't being mentioned yet also. They made a special port in the back of the new xbox especially for the kinect. They wouldn't do that unless it was going to be amazingly huge.
BTW the new xbox was leaked from German ads 2 days before Ya its cool and all, but it's really not a new system, IE not the Xbox 720 or whatever. It's just an xbox with built in wifi. Agreed on the potential of Kinect, however did you see that demo for the star wars game? I dunno it looked kinda lame
Did you see the video from the maker of MGS?! Slicing up guys anyway you wish and then slicing up watermelon. I thought the star wars game would actually look kinda cool if they work on it a bit more. And yeah there were a number of ads a day or two before that got me all horny. I will prostitute myself.
Can someone explain in point form this Kinect? Just over simplify it in a sentece if you want to, it would be appreciated.
K then i'm loving that ****, didn't they show project Natal a long time ago? I remember hearing about that last year. That could revalutionalize gaming at some point down the road.
Project natal and playstation move were shown last year. They also both come out this year in the coming months.
I hope they don't go all Nintendo Wii like the last years showing and just have you dodging balls and shiiit. Childish just fun toy. I wanna run around cracking necks or play UFC on project Natal someday soon as possible. I'll get you in a Arm Triangle motha fuuucko.
From what I read what was at the Sony conference (including ZOMG!!! Twisted Metal), it was better than Microsoft's but I can't get over how much Sony basically copied Wii's controller. Still makes me sad that MS had the worst showing of the three as I had high hopes for the MS conference, even ea's conference looked better
They showed a lot more stuff this year. They were driving in Forza 3 with it somehow. There is a workout game that looked pretty cool. Kinectimals where you can play with Skittles the jungle cat. Even jump rope with skittles lol. OH AND HIDE FROM SKITTLES AND THEN SHE WILL LICK YOUR FACE WHEN YOU COME BACK!!! It definitely shows amazing promise for the future. IMfanboyO I would say that the playstation move and Kinect are further ahead than the Wii.
LOL oh thats exactly what they did. Does a game about your pet tiger fun? No? How about a generic wii sports rip off? No, how about a game where you and your friend are in a raft and you have to jump and turn to progress? Still no? Then ya, its exactly wii-type games

Maybe Kinect but they showed a lot of stuff that could already be done on Wii without a camera, also PS Move is so lol worthy, it works exactly like a wiimote, they also couldn't figure out out the make their own controller so they just copied the Wiimote and the nunchuk
