Accountblocked you obviously have a good reason to be a little miffed. Although It should've probably been handled a little differently through pm's or the messenger services.

Goalie has been working really hard though to try to please everyone. He posted on the mlb admin forum asking for everyone's advice and also talked with me through aol about how all the teams should be distributed. He honestly felt that you would rather be with the Giants and would be happy with them since they were your #2 choice.

It was a mistake though to take the Phillies away from you without your permission. I would chalk it up to a simple miscommunication error and this thread shouldn't have been blown out of proportion and handled differently. It is being discussed now on what needs to be done.

 

Still no answer. Goalie..?????? Can someone please answer some of our posts, at the minimum we deserve the selection parameters..answers. How can someone who joined LG over 1 month ago (never been in any leagues), joined MLB at the last second, get a team in the Majors - while others who have been here over a year (or close to it), been in other sport leagues, not get a team in the Majors??? Anyone...??

All the while people are arguing over the Phillies. At least you have a team in the Majors..:cry:

 

Maybe you should PM goalie. Also, keep in mind the original team selections where done by Denman. I believe he explained how people where selected.

2nd, i REALLY thought i was asking in those posts. i don't think it's fair to say that i "refused to ask for the team nicely"

i was trying to get the whole thing done, and HONESTLY thought you would prefer the Giants!

yes, i wanted the Phils. but i also had waited as long as i thought i could for a response from my pm's.

i thank you for listing all the PM's - i didnt have time to do that at work today.

hopefully you can see how my thought process worked.

i didnt intend to dupe you into taking a team you didnt want.

i didnt stick you with the Devil Rays - i thought you would WANT the Giants.

when you didnt respond, and i needed to get the teams set because tris wanted the schedule - i just did what i THOUGHT would be right.

 

an additional point:

i think i was most miffed that you didnt just respond to my PM saying, "whoa goalie - i didnt really want the Giants any more!"

instead, you made this very public, and it didnt need to be.

you never responded to several PMs i made since you first expressed your dissatisfaction.

again, you simply went public.

i don't really understand that.

i know you dont know me very well, but i consider myself a fair and honest person, and would ALWAYS pm someone first with a question or criticism...

you can ask denman about that - i PM'd him several times after the 1st set of teams were announced.

account - just let me know how you would like this solved, in a PM, please.

i would like the Phillies.

but, i will not take them over unless you approve.

Just say, "Can I have the Philli's, please? I can get you the Giants and they where high on your list."
