finding the quarter length for dynasty

I am curious to know what other players on this forum use for quarter length when their playing dynasty mode. Historically, I have found 10 min. quarters to result in decent, realistic stats; for the user, I mean. But, the 360 version of NCAA has seemed a little different and I'm not sure 10 min. is appropriate anymore.

So, what does everybody use for quarter time?

 

5 minutes, always. It can yield realistic stats for offenses, since you don't have stopages and extended use of the playclock by both sides like in real football. Besides, 10 minute quarters are just wayyyy too long IMO.

I normally go 7 min. 5 I feel is too short while 10 is way too long.

 

Well I don't like the fact that you never get realistic defensive stats in regards to tackles. With the wife hating how much I play as it is, I've found keeping it to 5 keeps the peace.

 

5 minutes for me, I have the same reasons as Jcon, I have to keep the peace at home especially since this year I'll be in NCAA and Madden leagues.
