Where do you come up with your math? If someone takes GM for a GM that has been removed their cap should be cut or taken off. So no one is getting 28 Mil! That is like saying if I take GM next season, it isn't fair because we would owvr the cap by 6MIL! Like seriously your dumb.

 

yeah bud I hope they make a rule change. Because I know other leagues I have been apart of cut or take away the new GM or GM's cap.

How is it dumb? That can completely be exploited. Someone who doesn't want to play signs up as GM, bids 15m on the best player in bidding, then quits and lets that player takes over as GM. Boom, 0 salary and can now pick up another top player.

Use your brain (even though your team isn't known for that,) it's the way it is for a reason. Resetting someones salary to 0 because they took over after the season begins has too many exploits, they just need a harsher penalty for people who do step down so they actually uphold their commitment.

 

Fuck people move on. And Providence shut up. You guys are lucky after all this shit going down. The more you complain really shows how ungrateful you are to the league

Not really interested but thought i would leave my opinion. icecaps gm quit last season cause we were losing and yet we had to keep the salary of our new GM. seems a bit weird that you guys dont have the same issue, since you were penalized for being over the cap then given free cap space. ive never complained and could care less im happy your team is doing well and will go on with my day. did not know this was an issue till i saw the post. Good luck everyone it is still a game.

 

Oh and also teams losing your GM and AGM make sure you pick your 2 highest payed players to take over so you can shed half their cap. As long as that is what is the new rule is seems like a smart practice going forward.
