He picked me too far too, but I'm going after it as hard as I can. I want to be in the mix so bad for an LG title. Man, I'm already blowing my great oppertunity in the NBA League, so I need to make the best of this chance, with an opening round home game, and if I can do that, I've got some revenge motivation for the Patriots.

..that said, I don't expect to make it out of round 1, but I'm damn sure going to play hard, I've never beat edge, so that's a challenge all its own, and with that team it'll be tough, but I'm gonna bring it all day!

FIRST GAME HAS BEEN PLAYED...LOCK IT UP

 

Well, with Latdogg's win over windlessmoney, the contest for the free game is officially over. Thanks to all those who participated. Whether I'll award the game to the guy with the best overall prediction % or not is yet to be decided. I think I might elect to wait and give away the game at the end of next season. It would work differently however.

I wanted to do it this time but Tris couldn't have gotten the code done in time. But how it will work is simple. It's going to be an NFL Pick 'em, LG style with members getting an allowance of money to bet on each game. The guy with the most money at the end of the playoffs wins the game. I think this will be better since next season should be finishing up just before the launch of Madden '08. What's great about this way of doing it, you might have two guys with the same picks but not as likely to have bet the same exact amount. Not sure if I'd choose to give more money each week or simply give a set amount to be used period. It might be a matter of what Tris can program. Anyway, there WILL be a winner next time, guaranteed.

 

Kudos to Nosice for being a perfect 5-0 in the AFC bracket. Unfortunately, he was 1-4 in the NFC. I guess you can blame Latdogg and myself for that.
