Important info on how the challenge system will work Bullet Points Only Management can create a game to be challenged Only Management can accept a challenge from another team Once the game has both teams, inputting stats and everything else will be the same way as the LGHL/AHL/CHL
Am I understanding you can see which team set up the original challenge? Shouldn't that be hidden? Say Team A is considered THE top team by many and created a game. Team B is a group that is decent but will lose 9 out of 10 times to Team A. They are the only teams ready to play at that certain time. Team B is most likely not going to accept/playTeam A and now no games are being played... Or am I completely thinking of this incorrectly??
Just talked to Nuge about it and he agrees So when someone creates a game, no one can see the team when its an open challenge Example
Is there any information on whether there is a restriction on how many times you can play a certain team in an allotted period? That would be nice and prevent teams from, ''going to the well.'' For example, on GB, you have to wait four hours to play a team again, that's a little long for something as small as this as far as time involved, however, maybe a set amount of games you can play vs a particular team in a 12 or 24 hour period. I don't think any of the participating teams would avoid certain teams , but it would just create structure to prevent this. Just wondering, thanks.
If you play a certain team in more than 25% of your games you will be deducted points from the ladder, only rule that covers anything like that. Sunday at 5PM is the official start of the tournament.
I was informed there is a penalty of playing 25% of your games vs. one team. If that's the case, I think there needs to be restrictions on being able to accept the challenge to prevent this (if there isn't already) because the challenges are blind, so you don't know who you are agreeing to play.
Statistically its just about impossible for that to happen randomly. If a team is worried about it coming down to the deadline they can feel free to set up games with teams that arent the team that they apparently match up with all the time. The deduction for being a game or 2 over the limit is small, being significantly over the limit could be bad for a team though.
