Just to let everyone know about SNP...

A little story...

So for the first time I sign up to play some SNP with a few boys... we do pretty well... get to the finals... and then...

CrookedGains comes in and says we have an illegal roster because our LD, who bought out his ban and who has played SNP for weeks and even talked to Pastor about this issue, is all of a sudden ruled ineligible to play whenever we have to face his team in the finals. Convenient?

I just want to put out a public service announcement about this shitshow of a league. It's obviously poorly run. In fact you MUST be on an AHL/CHL roster, but half the teams had players that are in the NHL, but they were not deemed illegal.

I would urge you all not to waste your time in this absolute disaster of a league, or possibly someone needs to help pastor run this because he is clearly not able to do this by himself. He even said he doesn't have the time to check the rosters... I would say someone needs to help this man out before this league progresses any further and more people waste hours of their time only to have one person who is unfit to run a league waste hours of everyone's time. To add: Our ineligible player HAS messages from Pastor himself begging him to LD for him in SNP! And ON TOP of that, he ALSO messaged Pastor about SNP when he bought his ban out back in week 3!!!!!

 

he wasnt on a roster and the rules state you must be on a ahl or chl roster and is he.... no

 

I mean, when the person who runs SNP gives you express permission to play AND asks you to play on HIS teams, one would assume you are eligible.

Ok here we go. Ill clear this up again another time for you legacy since the first 10 times it didn't make sense to you.

1.) You guys had an illegal roster

- NLK was not currently on an AHL/CHL/CHL TC as of tonight's tournament, and if you look at the rules, he must have been on a roster prior to Thursday

- 9.) YOU MUST be assigned to a AHL/CHL/CHL TC prior to SNP. This being said, you must be fully signed up on the XBOX side BEFORE THURSDAY
** If you sign up after Thursday and before Saturday, you are in-eligible **

- The rules are plain and simple, they are even posted in the MASS PM sent to all owners

2.) Asking NLK to play

- I did in fact ask NLK if he was available to play tonight, as far as the begging part, I wouldn't go that far.

- Was I aware that he wasn't on a roster? No, because if he wasn't I obviously wouldn't have let him play. I don't go in depth on every single player, 8 players on a team, 16 teams, to see if they are eligible. When people come to me saying this team has an ineligible player, I'm going to look into it. Its just like second tags, nothing happens until it is brought up.

- When he contacted me asking if he could play, he mentioned that he was banned and bought it back out, (back in S4/S5 of SNP) but was never put back onto his original roster, Toronto Marlies, under the assumption that he never re-signed back up to play in S28. Yes, he started out S28 in the AHL on the Marlies roster. He got banned, bought it out, was never put back onto it due to him not signing back up.

- So yes, him not being on a roster is technically an in-eligible player.

- As far as NLK playing in the past SNP's. That is my fault for not looking at players more in depth to assure they are currently on rosters as of S28. There is 100+ players every week during SNP's. Me going through every single person to ensure they are eligible is a little ridiculous. Which is why ive asked for some more people to hop on board to help out with that.

- As far as you thinking I rig SNP. Just because we were playing you in the finals, doesn't mean I was looking to make you guys FF. It was brought to my attention after the game VS Rockford and other players that NLK was never on an AHL/CHL roster. I then looked into it and found out he was in fact not on a roster.

- It is just like 2nd tags, its not looked into until someone brings it up.

4.) "NHL" players playing in SNP

- You mentioned that there were players in the NHL playing in SNP last night. Dan USA being one of them. As of S28, he was currently on a CHL roster. The only reason he was on an NHL roster was due to him accepting management. If you guys looked at what I said in the forums, is that everything is based off of the S28 roster. So as of the S28 roster, Dan was indeed eligible. NLK didn't accept management, was not on a roster and also didn't sign back up. You cant compare Dan USA situation to the NLK one.


So, before you go ranting and raving about how I rigged it or screwed you guys over, please go look at the rules.

Oh Jesus, another meaningless hockey tournament on the weekend? I thought that’s what FNP was for. Couldn’t you just pretend you won the SNP? Cause winning it and losing it brings the same outcome, nothing.

Also... you said DAN USA was eligible because he WAS on a AHL or CHL roster in s28... but is now on an NHL roster... NLK WAS also on a AHL or CHL roster during s28 and now isn’t.. they both were roster players in qualifying leagues in the correct season... not sure why one is eligible and one is not? It also shows NLK signing up to play (including winner the tournament) 21 days ago... what’s changed?
