Great News! Version 3.0 of the LG mobile app is complete for iOS and has been uploaded to apple The apple review process is at least a week, so as long as they dont reject the app it should be up next tuesday. This app was built from the ground up. Everything was new. What is also great is this is built as a platform, in which updates can be done automatically so expect new features, pages and other updates to happen automatically! I'm going to start work on the android one soon. -Tris10
I am curious, what do they do? Do they launch it and play around with it or just make sure it's not full of virus?
Neither. They wait a week, then just log in and see if there are any broken links or images. Thats it. They must also search the code to make sure apps dont do anything that breaks their TOS.
Any chance that there is a master push notification shut off or all turned off by default? The only complaint that I have about previous versions is that I kept getting notifications even though I turned them all off. The only fix that I could make was to delete the app as I couldn't stand my phone going off every 2 seconds. Especially team chats & then when scores were updated.
Just updated the app for iOS on an iPad 4. It stalls on "Setting Up" and so doesn't let me get to a login screen, which means it's basically unusable. Since we can't go back to the old app, maybe management people should hold off on getting it so they can still get stats on the old version.
I've tried force quitting the app and retrying several times, even waiting several minutes on the screen. I'm not sure what else I can do.
I tried deleting the app, and reinstalling multiple times with no success. It just "Sets up" forever.
For this, you need to enable "push notifications". It will never get past this point if you dont allow it
