LG should have a OVERALL PLAYER RATING SYSTEM THATLL MAKE LG SO MUCH FUN "" RATE THERE PLAYER OVERALL SKILL DEPENDING ON PERFORMANCE SUCH AS 87OVERALL PLAYER

 

Do you understand how hard this would be to be accurate? Yeah it would be fun but just dictation the difference from a 89 and a 86 is going to be tough just from how much goes into it

 

unknown rating until the end of the season , youll be rated depending on stats

 

i just think its a fun idea

 

like EA RATES PLAYER DEPENDING ON THERE STATS, ITS POSSIBLE NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

 

Every player on a good team will have a good rating and every player on a bad team will have a bad rating pretty and how about the CHL guys who score 12 goals per game against hellen keller 2.0 all game lol it would be just too hard to dictate based off stats.

 

@Starwood18 has something similar to this in experimentation phase. ELO Rating. It's far superior to this idea but this isn't a bad idea.

 

yes thats a genius idea .. the website that makes such system will be the best website to go .. since everyone will be competitive to have the best overall

 

If you communicated this better people wouldnt shit on the idea as much but there are already power rankings which itself is miles beyond any other sports related game forum.

Virgin rating is the only think that matters on this site.

 

Like I said, it's in experimental state. There was a long post, alert and announcement on it. But I don't think we brought it over to v5 (yet), as there are still a couple of things Tris is adding back into the site.

Well if every game was streamed or recorded a group of people could do it lol but that's a lot of work so another alternative would be management to do submit the stuff or last option would be based off points, etc. the problem is a few stats would be hard to judge like passing for example but I guess you could make a simple system to base the ovr on shooting, passing (from assists), checking, etc but the code would prolly be annoying not my suite so idk lol

 

well you never know its worth a try ,could be the next big thing.

 

Points aren't the end all be all. I'm a FWD and am a defensive FWD so I don't put up huge point totals.

 

It is a good idea. The only way it would work and be accurate is if gm's were unbiased in putting together the best possible teams.
