LGFA - Providing Proof (screenshots) & the Action Center

    This is just a quick reference thread for how to provide proof when needed. There are many times when this is required on YOUR part if you want staff to do certain things for you.


    Here's a brief table of contents:

    First off - it's important to know that we have an Action Center for the league.
    • What is the Action Center?
    The Action Center is where you can submit a Request, Complaint or Appeal.

    • What is it for?
    I'm not going to go into great detail as to how to use the Action Center in this post. I will add in a link later for a more advanced/detailed explanation of that later. For now, just know that when you are making a Complaint or an Appeal, league staff require proof in order to take your submission seriously. Without it, we are not permitted by league rules to make a ruling/judgement or issue a punishment.

    THIS is YOUR right as a player also !! If a ruling is made against you without proof -> you have the right to request an appeal and have it reversed !! Please note, even if it is reversed and proof is subsequently given, the judgement(s)/ruling(s) still stand.

    PROOF ? Why?


    Reasons why proof is required:
    • You are an Owner, GM, or AGM and need to submit a complaint regarding a player being inactive and/or not communicating with you.
    • You are a player and need to complain against your Owner, GM, or AGM not playing you even though you are on the main Roster...or they are not responding to you.
    • You need to provide proof stats or lines were submitted incorrectly.
    • You need to provide proof your team had sufficient players and the other team forfeited, or proof that the other team's management agreed to the game being rescheduled.
    • You need to provide proof that a game rule was broken while playing a game (eg. goalie interference)
    • ...there are more but these are some of the main reasons.


    How to get and provide proof

    Generally screenshots can be taken by your method of preference, uploaded to a picture hosting site (one that does not delete it after a period of time), and then include it in your Conversations (ie. LG site private messages) and/or Action Center items.

    Where to get proof from:

    • Stream games via twitch: http://twitch.com/
