LGv3.5 - Features

Hello everyone,

This post is to talk about some of the new features and design styling of LGv3.5

Xbox Live Avatars
One the main things you will notice on the "New Xbox Experince" is how Xbox is really pushing the new avatar system as a form to identify a user for the future. We took notice to this and really try to do our best to spread that users identity across leaguegaming.

First thing you will notice is in your posts, you will see your XBL avatar faded on the top right of your posts. This adds a nice dynamic touch to your posts as well as gives it a bit of personaliity.

Second on the "who's online", we changes this system to show your avatar's head. Another touch to get to know your friends new identity.

Post Bit
Another change on your posts is your xbox live avatar (your 64x64 image) is displaying the image directly from microsoft and at its native size. To accomindate this we have moved the online feeds to the right of the image.

Also if you have uplodated a video to 2ksports.com, you will notice a new tab in your "my lg" tab headers for "videos"

User Profile
The user profile page has been rewritten and allows a lot of the new VB features

First you can now have an LG friends list where you can add your buddies. Also each user has a wall (ala facebook)

We have added a lot of tabs in the users profile page including:

XBL
Here we display every xbox game we've seen you play, and include your total achievements and gamer score for each game.

Reviews
Here we display every LG game review in one place.

Your latest LG automated blogs

There are a bunch of other minor updates that you will find around the site.

hmm there might be some old data in there from 2 years ago. PM me the games that shouldn't be there and i will simply delete em

 

I would say so, because the longer term goal is to have you "buy" content for your avatar like jersey's or hats 'en stuff

 

Try re-uploading your avatar.

Also i think your xbox live permissions are set to "Friends only" to see your gamer list and maybe even your avatar. Notice none of your games show up in your posts. Check your xbox live privacy settings on xbox.com and set that to public

 

Because the MS servers are getting hit really hard and a lot of the avatar images are not coming through. We are going to cache the avatar images on LG for a little bit. So they may not update the second you make any changes

 

Under the "who's online" at the bottom of the forums home page, You will see the icons of any leagues members are in.

If you hover over one of those icons it will display the league name, as well as fill in the bg behind that users avatar with the team logo.
(this might require a manual refresh of the forums home page if the effect does not work for you)
