If I remember correctly, because it's after trade deadline and so late in the season, you'll have to sign up for season 7. You'll have the opportunity to be bid on in the CHL (this is the AHL forum by the way) and if you don't get bid on you'll be randomly assigned as a TC (training camp player) on a CHL team. I recommend playing try-out games after this season is finished and before the start of next season. They usually run for a couple weeks or something like that close to before the next season starts. Hopefully nobody makes fun of you for being a noob here haha. I recommend asking questions on the CHL PSN forums though. Best of luck, my dude. Welcome to LG.
Welcome to LG. We just wrapped up the regular season and are about to begining playoffs. Being new to the league you are prospect status and cannot play for NHL or AHL teams in the playoffs. Your best bet is to reach out to you CHL team and find out if they are even in the playoffs. If they are not in the playoffs, there wont be much for you to do other then playing ib some pick up/tryout games until next season.
Under the shout box there are tabs one of them says, " LG pickup games" You can go there to search for pickup games. The pickup games right now are focusing on evaluating talent for the offseason event that is held for all of the players that did not make the playoffs. Another way to get some exposure is to sign up for Friday night puck which is a tournament we play every Friday. Also watch the shoutbox if someone needs someone to play the position you play let them know if you are free. Those are the best ways I know to get some games in other then just getting to know people and start playing with them.
Realistically you won't see pick up games for another 4-6 weeks with new owners and management coming into play after playoffs are done and over with. You may see a few random ones from eliminated teams who are keeping the same manager.
