MLB 2K10 Demo Date - Tuesday 23rd

Thanks for the update. Can't wait to try this out and see what changes were made...

 

Good to see single player/offline reviews are positive. But we need to see how it plays online. It's looking good though. I plan on playing some tomorrow maybe.

 

Uh, just as good as last year??? We are talking about MLB2K9 as being "last year" right?

 

Positives:
Realisitic Movements (Howard homerun trot and Utley turning the DP)
Fluid game play
Being able to line up throws on pop ups to gun guys down tagging up
The entire pitching concept this season

Negatives:
Ball movement too fast (seems like the ball gets to the wall too quickly on a gapper
and cant sometimes not follow it on the throw from third to first)
Ruiz' name is way to big on the back of his jersey
The shaded gray area over the strike zone makes it difficult to pick up the pitch

 

played it last night. loved it. super excited for the full game!

 

These are my 2 only gripes i have so far about the game.

 

This game along with the Show are on the shelves at my work. Pretty tempting to grab both but am picking up the show tomorrow for sure!

 

League stuff, general network errors, etc. The general network errors, while I know you guys know what causes those, have been going back to NHL 2k7.

Don't worry, on release I'll let you know if I see any of those general network errors.
