I think I am going to pass on MLB games until I can get a PS3, I just seem disappointed every year with 2K. Tris did a good job with the online league portion but the actual game lacks. I did enjoy the offline portion where you start in the minors though. That was addicting, although by the time I made the MLB I had already played in ~200 games and I was burnt out, lol. I never even finished my rookie year in the bigs!

 

This was my biggest gripe also, I tried to bring Kenny Powers to life but the reliever was just so unbearable to try and develop that by the time I was pitching regularly in the MLB I got sick of the game. Online games were just horrible like usual, not that it's all 2ks fault.

I'll wait, last year there were several oversights (such as pitchers not getting pulled with 140 pitches thrown) so I'll wait until those are resolved before I spend the money.

Looks good, I can imagine everyone will be the Phillies now, if they are good pitchers.

I like the game, but do get bored of it quickly, I donno, not enough friends have interest for it.

Any idea on when the demo is coming out.

 

I agree Hazzy, playing offline to me just gets stale and online is a joke. Games are decided almost entirely by home runs, and as soon as you make a guy chase a pitch he comes back with 13 dirt pitches in a row.

 

We going to have a league for this again? I would like to get some baseball in this spring/summer

 

It was awesome, but I really wanted to be a closer and it took me 2 years just to start getting regular innings. I made a starting pitcher and because the game let me throw 140 pitches a game I got him into the big leagues the next season.

 

I will be getting The Show, 2k just is trash every year.

 

Its hard to keep 1v1 leagues going now adays. If there is interest, i'd be glad to help out to get a league up and going even if its a small and short league.

I think the franchises help out alot like in Madden, we are starting our 3rd season almost a year into the game. When will 2k start doing online franchises?
