I've heard that there is a Demo and it's been sent to MS for certification. I have a feeling we will be seeing it within the next 24 hours. They have removed the demo (I think it was Crackdown) from the "New Demos" section of the Marketplace. Whoever posts here first that the demo is out gets to be known as the guy that posted here first that the demo is out :bow: So get to watching!
I was already checking for it this morning. Have you seen the videos on ign.com? The game looks amazing! Gameplay looks good too, except for one throw by Vizquel which was off-balance.
that would be cool if its out this weekend, we can get an idea how it is a little early... I will be checking for it.
I will be happy if the demo comes out on Monday night. I just want to be able to try it on for size before I get it!!
I saw the vids last night. It looks awesome. One thing I did notice is the "Dive Now" prompt. If it's exactly like last year where it was an automatic out, I will be PISSED :evil: . hopefully you can turn it off. MVP dives were PERFECT! You had to time it and it responded right when you attempted it. If this MVP cat came over to 2K and overlooked that, I have serious concerns about what this guy brought to the table. I hope I'm wrong. But if I'm right, we could be up for another 2K ass reaming.
Man, I know how much we luved MVP, but we have to understand, the other companies are way behind. I would say that if they improved the key problems from last year, this game will be better. Although I dont like the dive prompt, I can deal with it.
I hope their is a demo cause I'm having 2nd thoughts about buying this game. I don't care about how the game looks or animations or anything. I want a good overall baseball game. The only way to judge gameplay is to play the game, and I haven't really heard too much about new features, or retooled features, so I'm not holding my breath.
New word from a 2K forum admin is the demo will be out tonight around 2AM.....just not sure if it is Pst or est....
it was on the 2k boards.. the admin posted it!! sets alarm for demo.. goes back to sleep, plays demo, then off to work
well glad i slept through the first alarm lol.. its not on live like stated above.. i dunno the 2k forum admin posted that it would be there.. oh well the game will be in my hands tomorrow..
Damn, if it ain't out today, its useless to most of us who are getting the game regardless. I just wanted to be able to check it out today. Oh well, not much longer at all.
Yea ditto. I probably wont bother downloading it since ill have the real game either tonite or tomorrow anyway. Oh well.
