New Sign-up requirements

I was going to make it 50 posts, but the late sign-up"ers" would never make that count. But this is good.

 

Well, I tried signing up for the first tourney but was too late. I couldn't get live working in time. Now, I don't have enough posts. Your makin' this difficult for me. Not complaining, just building my post count.

 

Surely you'll have your post count to 10 before signups are over for Tournament #2

 

good. I think this should also apply for many others leagues. The contact info is a must also.

I'll try to get my hands on this game by sometime this week if possible. and sign up for the league.

What is the current amount of players signed up out of 64 btw?

The problem with PM's and especially email, is that they are not instant. Neither one will let you know if your opponent is currently online or available to play.

With PM's, they have to be browsing the forum to get your message, so if they are at their computer, but don't happen to be surfing here, you'll have a hard time hooking up at the spur of the moment.

With email, it's the same problem, but worse. You have to count on your opponent having their email program running to let them know that they have an email from you, and then you have to have it running as well to get their response.

Instant messaging is clearly the quickest, fastest, and easiest way to get your games played. If this is simply not an option, then you'll probably need to schedule your games in advance for a set time and hope that you both remember and both show up.

 

a very good suggestion tris10. i strongly agree on that one. if you could email every member particularly to those who signed up for the league regarding this new rule.

and yeah kinetic we need IM, to get immediate response from an individual. its much faster to communicate. :wink: i suggest you ask XBOXJON regarding trillian (?) that combines all the IM into one. he could download it for your free :wink:
