Found this video on another forum, downloaded it and I'm watching it now. 9 minutes of gameplay from someone playing NFL2k4 It looks like an early beta version of the game, very rough around the edges. They haven't programmed the announcers to call all of the player's names (they probably do the fringe players last, after rosters are finalized). From what I'm seeing, they person is probably playing the game on rookie mode too. http://216.120.235.182/~nflakxc/movie.zip (grab it while you can! I'm sure this guy's bandwidth limit will be hit in no time) -offensive tackles don't give away your play call -coach cam for both offense AND defense -15yd diving tackles seem reduced -a Cowboy TE caught the ball over the middle, got creamed right when he caught it, but still held on -play calling screens look nice, more Madden-like -challenge system is in there now, and they show one being overturned! That's going to make things really interesting, now that we have refs who blow calls. So much for the infallable computer's eyes. -presentation is AWESOME. ESPN everywhere, crowd and fan closeups look amazing. -lots of cool new animations
Latdogg - grab this movie if you can. At the end of the clip, they run through a bunch of the game stat screens. You might want to start compiling what stats you want in the calculator so Tristan can program everything when he gets back.
thats a great movie. Two injuries in a row, one for 9 weeks other for 15 weeks ouch lol...O-linemen and your starting Running back that really sucks...It shows a lot of stats though.
On a side note, IGN.com has videos of the game running in first person mode...supposedly. Everytime I try so see/download one, I get an error and have to restart my browser. But check it out, might be my PC.
I downloaded all of the 1st person mode videos and it looks like nothing more than a gimmick. Not really a playable camera angle, or one that I would want to attempt.
