Zambonia game is hard guys! You actually have to use the brake a lot of take your time or you will crash into the boards lol
I think they are really good, i mean all zamboni's are rear wheel drive and you can totally feel it. If you has to hard and turn you can spin out lol BTW, notice the news about the xbox 360 demo in a few weeks? Now that VC is taking over they aren't going to make the same mistakes as before and release the demo's late
BTW, these are the much smaller updates this year. Much much more to come, especially for online, online leagues and our web application. I dont think they will even cover those in E3 since it can't be shown
*sigh* first party mode, then cinemotion, now zamboni driving! How long until 2k stops making next-gen garbage and puts out something good like they had with 2k3, 2k5, 2k6 (NOT 360 version of 2k6)?
Like Tristan said, these are smaller updates. VC likes to add little things to make the game MORE realistic.
Trust me, judge the game when you have it. These aren't "features" that were announced, Just minor updates. This is the team behind NFL 2k and the NBA series. I've been playing nhl 2k9 for a month now, and its a completely new game thats true to the sport of hockey
awesome stuff to hear tris. I know you have worked hard on this game and i am sure it will defiantly show this year.
While I understand these are small upgrades, they will do nothing for the sim player. I may play the zamboni game once but then after that it'll just like the skills challenge, I"ll never touch it again. But form reading that article, it makes it sound as either you will be using the new simple controls or the crap from 2k8. Is that true? If it is, then there goes me having any interest in 2k9. I want to be able to do eveything I can with 2k7 advanced, without the overthought out controls of 2k8.
The thing that I like is realistic features like the right goal songs or like EA is doing with being able to lift the sticks now or getting rid of tape to tape passes all the time...
2k just needs to steal the skill stick. EA is currently in the lead with the number of people playing, and if you use the same or at least extremely similar control scheme it will be much easier for those EA players to pick up, play, and stick with 2k. It's not like 2k came up with the buttons used for passing and shooting on 2k-2k7.
