Hamilton Bulldogs Second Tagging Incident

On Thursday, April 1st, 2021, Hamilton Bulldogs Owner @RusTromb0ne was issued a Capital Offence - 3 Season Ban for Threatening one of the players on his team. This was handled in Action Centre Ticket #61432.

Within an hour, RusTromb0ne sent this to Staff telling us about a whole bunch of 2nd Tagging going on in Hamilton:

Staff was then told to issue Capital Offence Bans to all the players provided in the image above, based on the proof that was provided in that PM from RusTromb0ne.

When asked if RusTromb0ne could provide more evidence, he gave the Staff the entire story.

Due to this, @Regioon, and all the players involved in the tagging and recovering of accounts were issued Capital Offence Bans as well. Afterwards, all games that the players who were tagging played were overturned to 1-0 Forfeit Losses.

Also, RusTromb0ne came clean to Staff about the @Trollin4points account. He is not this user and Staff verified this.

Kansas City Mavericks Tagging Incident


Throughout the last couple weeks, several CHL Managers and Players have approached Staff about the possibility of Second Tagging on the Kansas City Mavericks. After a few investigations, we started noticing a few IPs matching, the use of several VPNs and several similar patterns from players based on the Xbox Profiles, their EA Accounts and their Player Builds.

Here is a few of the PMs that Staff received that made us take this possibility seriously and what essentially was the icing on the cake for Staff to get a confession from the Kansas City Owner, @l Stonks l.

Due to this, @LG McDonald approached @l Stonks l on Discord about it, followed by @DaYoungBuck messaging him as well to get the final rundown of the entire situation.

Therefore, due to the confession and all the above information, Staff issued a Capital Offence - 3 Season Ban to 13 Total Players. https://imgur.com/a/M5PsWuw

Due to Stonks being the Centre for all 3 Lines, there were players with tags playing in every single game that Kansas City played. Therefore, every single game KC won or lost in Overtime were overturned.

Also, due to this, Kansas City has been folded for the remainder of Season 38 (1 week). Staff do not feel it is in their best interest to grant Ownership/Management to any of the remaining 6 players, as it would bring a very unfair advantage for the last week. Also, Staff are not 100% certain that all the players remaining were completely unaware of the tags, or that the Training Camp does not contain more of the 2nd tags. The teams that play Kansas City in Week 6 will be granted a Forfeit Win. Kansas City will finish Season 38 with a Record of 0-72-0, and the 6 Remaining Players are done for the season.

Season 40 - Peterborough Petes Management Removals

On November 30th, 2021, the CHL Staff were sent several PMs and Discord DMs from members of the Peterborough Petes with concerns with their Management and how they were treating their players. So the CHL Staff did a Wellness Check PM with the Petes Management (@O Baron 0, @W McCauley 4 and @xKalashnikov 74) to check in and see what was going on. They immediately became defensive and essentially said that everything was fine and that it was the players causing issues, not the Management. Staff left it at that.

On Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, the CHL Staff were sent a PM from @O Baron 0 asking for help. He, the team Owner, was having consistent issues with his management team, and that they are being extremely toxic to the team. Staff reached out to a couple players to get some insight. It was during that time that Baron informed Staff that he would like to step down. As Staff, it is our job to make sure that is truly the intention of what he wanted. So we investigated further. He informed us that his GM was making numerous trades behind his back, the AGM doesn’t do anything (therefore a do-nothing Manager) and that they are toxic in the chats. Players requested to be traded due to Management issues. As Baron had already left the Team Chat, and could not gather the requested proof to see this, Staff asked a couple players if they could help with the investigation. The players gave the Staff everything from the Team Chat. This included both remaining Managers belittling their players, disrespecting them and simply making players want out due to their behaviour.

Therefore, as per:

The team Owner requested to fire his Managers for Conduct Unbecoming of Management, and for also having a Do-Nothing Manager. For the best interest of the team, we are keeping @O Baron 0 as the Owner of the Team at this time, with his new GM @CJWAGEN28 to help him get things back on track for the Petes.

 

After long deliberation, Tris and I with the help of the current LGHL staff have come to the following conclusion:

• The S42 Stanley Cup will be stripped from the NYI and granted to the CHI
• The cup is overturned because the player @Doanxr allowed the user @ShaunaIdinho to play on his account during game five of the cup finals.
• As a result, the current NYI Managers, Hxndry and Fisher will be removed from their management roles and added to the NHL NML.

This isn't the first time Doanxr has told players he has had Shaun play on his account. At this time Doanxr is on a one-year site ban, which when that concludes may result in his LGHL eligibility being permanently revoked.

 

It has come to our attention that @OCallahan17 is a registered sex offender and while we have no reason to believe he is a threat to anyone based on the info we have, we have decided to remove him from our community to protect not only the LG community but the NHL community as a whole.

There has also been several attempts to sneak back into the league by using friends and family member's accounts, which has also lead to several accounts to be removed from LG in the process.

The manager was issued this league removal due to fabricating/altering/falsifying evidence in order to have a trade go through. Along with that, the manager attempted to persuade another manager into trying to force a trade through.

Three IPs have been found linked to the user Waxmqn this season:
#1 @Waxmqn registered IP
#2 linked to @ECHXMPO
#3 linked to @Poppa x 88
All three users will be issued a CO ban for tag recovery.

The user @AssisDragan was aware ECHXMPO was using the Wax account while they were on CBJ

Ownership in CBJ and BOS were both interviewed and found to not be involved in the second tag issues at this time.

 

Guelph Second Tagging - xJostyy/DcuRt- Situation | Kingston winning overturned Series

On Monday, April 22nd, the CHL Staff received a Site PM from a player inquiring about @xJostyy being a second tag with another account named Nelly. Under further review that day, @LG McDonald was able to do an IP check on the player, and although it wasn't the person the player messaged Staff about, the player did have another IP match. As seen in the second screenshot, @DcuRt- received a site ban from @LG McDonald on November 12th, 2023 for being the second tag of user Nxlly29. At that time, @xJostyy was going by that username: https://imgur.com/a/6lHruFT

The timing of this is peculiar due to the fact that @xJostyy had received a capital offence - 3 season ban for refusal to play | no showing after being won in bidding on November 1st, 2023. On November 11th, 2023, the @DcuRt- account was created. This can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/ZkyRxVU

On November 12th, 2023, @DcuRt-'s vetting request was rejected. https://imgur.com/a/sGcgHG3

According to @DcuRt-, who was still Site Banned at the time, and still rejected in vetting, said his brother had no intent in playing, but wanted to be unbanned so he, @DcuRt- could play. The appeal was granted for @xJostyy on November 30th. https://imgur.com/a/M4Qn86D

On December 4th, the "player's" @xJostyy and @DcuRt- joined a Discord Voice Call with NCAA Commissioners @V 4 T T Y and @agrigs26. They confirmed there were two people in the call. However, reading back on these conversations, CHL Staff found the wording of how @DcuRt- spoke about his brother's ban prior to being vetted, how exactly to appeal it and how the process works incredibly sus. Also playing alot with Omaha, and trying to get traded there immediately, when not even in the league. There was no reason for @xJostyy to not have had those conversation with Staff via the Website PM or via Discord. No attempt was made to contact Staff. https://imgur.com/a/w4NDXTu

As seen in the first screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/6LUPAmp, the @DcuRt- account signed back into LG on January 14th, 2024 but nothing further. No Site PMs to Staff, no contact to anyone.

Due to @DcuRt- still being on a Site Ban at that time, the appeal to @xJostyy should not have been granted. The player was ineligible to even be playing in the league and that was something that League Staff missed as a whole due to a lack of communication/miscommunication.

When approached about the situation in Discord DMs with @LG McDonald, @xJostyy states, fairly conveniently, that his brother moved out last week so they couldn't prove it again that it's two separate people. Also notice the message from December 5th, 2023 asking to leave the league without getting banned, after his appeal was granted and he was re-added to the league. https://imgur.com/a/AZbOxn6

Therefore, both accounts were re-issued Capital Offence bans and Guelph was removed from the Playoffs for having a second tag account on their team per the Playoff Rulebook quote.


Staff would like to stress that both Moncton and Guelph management were completely unaware of the situation and this was entirely on the player.

 

Saginaw Second Tagging - Readds

On Wednesday, April 24th, a player reached out to CHL Staff, informing us that @Buzloh and @Readds are the same individual. CHL Staff investigated more thoroughly, and observed a particular pattern of seasons in which each account was actively playing. Pattern of active seasons:

@Buzloh: S37, S38, S39/S17 PSN, S40, S42, S43, S46
@Readds: S41, S44, S45, S47

There have only been two instances in which both players have played within the same season (S38 and S43), and neither instance contradicted game times from the other tag.

CHL Staff also noticed that each player had uniquely similar gamertags in the past, only off by one letter. Images of "Scarizm" and "Scarezm": https://imgur.com/a/3VfIdIf

The CHL Commissioners brought this substantial circumstantial evidence to @LG McDonald, who then checked @Readds's IP addresses. There was a recent match between @Readds and @Buzloh, as well as @Flinnur who stated he is @Buzloh's brother, which we believe we have corroborated to be true. Upon questioning of @Readds, he denied wrongdoing. We requested his current IP address, but he provided an image of a mobile IP address instead. We requested he provide his home IP address after arriving home later in the day. He claimed his laptop broke two-three weeks ago, so he would not be able to provide his home IP address. @LG McDonald mentioned that he would still be able to provide a real IP address via phone when on home Wi-Fi. After @JayyDubski bumped the PM some hours later asking for an update, @Readds provided an image of an IP address, but the IP address was through a VPN, which is prohibited on LG. The circumstantial evidence, the IP match, and the usage of a VPN was sufficient for @LG McDonald and the CHL Commissioners to follow through with punishment.

As a result of these actions, @Readds/@Buzloh will receive a Capital Offense. All games in which this player played in S47 will be overturned to 1-0 FFLs.


Addendum (April 25th): @Fialah, @Holta, @Rofano, and @Trenur each received Capital Offenses for knowledge of the aforementioned second tagging.
