Official Season 5 "alternates" sign-up thread

Season 4 has started, but on the off chance that someone's situation changes, or someone needs to be removed, we'll look for an alternate to take over for that team.

Post here if you would want to take over a team who's manager dropped out. Keep in mind you will get the team that is available, which may or may not be one of your. Before you signup as an alternate, please review the 1st post in this thread before expressing your desire to be an alternate for Season 4:

If we do need to replace an owner (not likely) we will look at a couple different variables in deciding who to use (activity on the site, games played on the exhibition scoreboard, and availability). It is not necessarily first come, first served.

update: 1/24 - there's only a few weeks left in the season. Many teams have only a dozen or so games left. In all likelihood, we will not need any alternates this season, but will use this list to contact people for Season 5 when we post up a sign up thread. Thank you for your interest in the league.

Well it nice to see we're starting to get some alternates. I'm guessing you won't get any choice in what team you get though.

 

That's okay. I just want to compete and have fun. I still need to work on my playing ability (read: scoring).

Well if you somehow magicly get the Avs I'm sure scoring won't be the problem!

suggestion if i may:

to all those who will be signed in alternates, maybe, we could make a "farm" league for them? so that they could still enjoy being in our site, and having their result posted up to.
this "farm" league will be exclusive for the alternates. what do you think about this???

Hey, that's cool. No shame in that. At least you had the foresite to see that you didn't want to commit to a 5 month season. I'd rather have people not participate at all, than for me to have to be on their ass all year about getting their games in because they don't have the time to do all of these leagues.

You had made 3 accounts here, all of them showed they had been email activated, so I'm not sure what the issue was.

I deleted the first 2 and renamed your "virtch" account to Virtual Assassin and put your MSN/Yahoo accounts in there.

Please update your profile with your gamelist, location, ICQ, gamertag, and maybe a sig and avatar.

Also, please confirm your interest in Season 4 in the top thread of this forum.

i don't have the game yet, my son is gettin it for his birthday on sep. 28 so after that i;ll have it and want on the waiting list plz
