Congratulations, Netherlands are actually my pick to win it, and a win over Germany is a way to do it. Good luck the rest of the way.
I couldn't watch the netherlands game today since I had work but I managed to watch both the England game the other day and the Italy game yesterday....I want England to win it all but if they don't I'd like to see Italy win it
Netherlands had a 2-0 lead in the 19th minutes but the Czechs formed a great comeback and tied it and later won it on a goal by Smicer in the 88th minute....Netherlands hopes for advancing on to the next round are growing smaller by the minute...They now need the czechs to beat germany in 3-4 days and they must beat latvia to advance.
this was without a doubt the best game of the year. The dutch aren't out yet, i'll cheer for them to the end, the only bad thing is i had to cheer for the biggest pansy team (the chezh) when they play germany
my boys in orange had a smashing come back today! They really looked strong in their last 2 games, i thnk they can go far!
Wow... Portugal vs Holland will be an entertaining game.... can't wait!!! I'm still calling the Czech to win it all.... The Depth on that team is unbelievable....
Well I am rooting for them to win it now, so I will keep it up a while longer than a day, thanks for changing it for me tris....
I do think that Holland/Netherlands whichever you choose to call it will win it out. I think they have the best chance to do it. What do you guys see being the final game for Euro 2004?
a history on Holland / Netherlands "Holland" is/was an official name for a north west region of current day "Netherlands" but "holland" doesn't mean the entire country. Officially around the world the dutch country is called "Netherlands". How ever old habbits of North American press still used to refer to the country of the dutch as Holland which is why we have this confusion. Another LG public service!
Tris, it is a gaming site, don't really need to learn history during my summer vacation. You are straining my brain when it is unable to be strained. But seriously though, thanks for the lesson, I was just wondering what the difference was between the two
Looks like the host nation has sent the Dutch packing.... I'm still calling the Czech to win it all against the Portuguese!!!!
