Passing out more cig My 2nd son was born today, took the wife in at 8am for her inducement, they broke her water around 1pm, and 90min later we had another bouncing baby boy on our hands. Big brother Jacob (16mon old) seemed happy meeting him, although I'm sure that will wear off soon after bringing the new one home. Stats: 8lbs 6oz, Born 5-3 at 2:30 pm, Peyton Michael Diehl
No doubt. More the wife than me though, I'm taking off for Tampa on Thursday for 3 weeks. At least she'll have her Mom and sister to help out. Having two boys 16 months apart will probably be cool when they are older though, for sports and stuff. At least that's what I was thinking when I told the wife I wanted to knock her up again 9 months ago.
congrats... im glad to see you named ur son after the worlds greatest QB ( manning ) and me ( michael )
Congratulations. Obviously I am not a dad, but I do contain quite a few parenting skills although you see me as semi-imature, as I do look after my nephew quite a bit in regular school year and every day in the summer. Congrats tho, and have fun. Way to go lol, have a baby and then leave town . I am sure you didn't really want that to happen
Congratulations Jon, It looks like you've really got your hands full now. Hope everyone is doing well and our best wishes to you & family.
Congrats and good luck. Two that young are gonna be a handful, but they should be close to eachother so it's worth the lack of sleep and money(two in college at the sametime) .
Thanks guys, my wife is enjoying reading this thread at the hospital. Unfortunately I think this little guy might be a Cubs fan. We had the Cubs/Cards game on the delivery room, the doctor even had his head turned around during the 9th inning to watch. Right when Sosa hit the 2 run homer in the 9th to put the game out of reach, he made his first breathe. lol
