PR, that is nothing new with MP, you have to learn that he is pretty much gonna speak his mind, most of the time he doesn't mean it. I mostly now just assume he is joking and don't make much of it. That is the best advice I can give you.

 

Congrats PR! No matter what MP says pitching a perfect game with any team is tough.

I gotta say though...I love it when MP gets people rattled. One more thing...if we all played MLB 24/7 we might be as good as him. Put the game down MP and get some sun...

 

No it's too late for me grandmasterb.... my skin has gotten so pale that if I would go outside I would instantly burn. You really out to see my condition...you can pretty much see through me.

 

Except for when I'm talking about Gophers.

 

In all seriousness......how could anyone be no hit in this game? It is so easy to hit and score.

You can pitch though and if you hold him to 3 runs that would be a victory in itself.

No offense to canucks but throwing a perfect game against the marlins doesnt mean he is this godly pitcher. Maybe he is? I don't really know but I mean I could throw a perfect game to if someone swang at everything no matter where I threw it. Not sure if thats how things went down or not but you get what I'm saying. Mr. Rivers and I will play someday against each other I imagine. But he doesnt have to prove himself to me likewise I dont have to prove myself to him.

BTW a win is a win regardless of how "close" it is. All you need is one more run/goal/point than your opponent. :wink:

I ain't scurred. Only problem is getting free time to play. I'm not sure what this is going to prove though. Knowing the PRO setting it could be a slugfest or a pitching duel depending how many balls the game decides we are going to hang that given day. :roll:

 

very true MP. one perfect game doean't mean your the best pitcher in the world. on average i really dont give up that many hits.

and like you said, it all depends on how many balls we're going to hang over the middle. Maroth was just on fire that day

 

No offense to Account blocked but I didn't beat him 25-5 because I'm that much better than him. I beat him that bad because his pitchers were seeing how many they could throw down the middle. If you hang pitches I'll make you pay and most of the times hanging pitches are the computers fault.
