Playoffs Round 1 Predictions

EASTERN ATLANTIC

1. Hershey Bears vs 4. Providence Bruins: The bears had a bit of a falling out with a goalie of theirs, but i don't think it'll affect them too much. The are loaded with superstar talent, while Providence is built on grit and getting into the slot. I expect the Bruins to put up a fight, but overall I think Hershey will take it fairly easily.
PREDICTION: Hershey in 5

2. WBS Penguins vs 3. Springfield Thunderbirds: These teams are very identical in player skill. WBS has those players that can really make a sweet pass, but the T-Birds have forwards who can walk through and entire team. It will be very interesting to see if Springfields strong Defense can hold up to WBS offense.
PREDICTION: Springfield in 7


EASTERN NORTH

1. Syracuse Crunch vs 4. St John's Ice Caps: Don't get me wrong, the Ice Caps are a good team, but I just don't think they can stand the Crunch.
PREDICTION: Syracuse in 4

2. Albany Devils vs 3. Utica Comets: The Devils are nice and hot heading into the postseason. These teams are similar in playing style (kinda) but I think Albany has the upper hand due to their defense
PREDICTION: Albany in 6


WESTERN CENTRAL

1. Iowa Wild vs 4. Manitoba Moose: Come on. No brainer.
PREDICTION: Iowa in 4

2. Chicago Wolves vs 3. Charlotte Checkers: Chicago has been consistent all season, but i think Charlotte has the hot hand right now. They are the best team since week 3, and I think they could really give Chicago a run for their money
PREDICTION: Charlotte in 7


WESTERN PACIFIC

1. San Diego Gulls vs 4. San Antonio Rampage: UHHHHH YEAH
PREDICTION: San Diego in 4

2. Bakersfield Condors vs 3. Ontario Reign: Should be a good series and Ontario is coming into this hot, but I don't think it will be enough.
PREDICTION: Bakersfield in 5/6

Why is it a little too soon for the write up? You are correct the Wolves have not enter their stats for game 2 last night, They won but when 2 teams are tied for points in a division it comes down to Goals F/A which puts Iowa Wild in 1st in the Western Central making us play you guys and the Wolves play the Checkers. You guy's are definitely the underdogs for sure and I hope you guys put up a fight against Iowa Wild, cause lets face it no team likes to get swept 4-0 in a playoff series. Good luck though!!

Dumb. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but just like in week 9. We beat each playoff team we matched against(minus the baby bruins... still mad at someone about that). Everyone replied to the threads agreeing that we would lose to all these teams. We proved you all wrong, we'll be glad to do it again.

 

Me, rampage and senko will win ours. Giving us the lead or the series... just saying we win games. Don't plan on stopping anytime soon
