Charlotte currently sits in 3rd in the east, however I believe they are a bit better than the 2nd place bulls. Charlottes magic number right now to clinch ( based on the nets winning out ) is 8. I see them winning atleast half their remaining games and easily clinching once brooklyn loses some games.

Here is where it gets interesting in the playoff race, the 76ers have 7 games atleast that will be competitive left, and one of them will be against the team chasing them, on the last day of the regular season. This could get interesting. Phi did go out and pull off the biggest trade of the break with grabbing ForeignObject for the disgruntled Wetlikekylelowry. I personally dont see them losing the spot but its very much possible.

Brooklyn lost a huge game this week against the 76ers which would currently have both teams at 12-12. Fortunately they have a game against them on the last day of the regular season. Brooklyn needs to win every game against teams with losing records or their season will be over. The schedule coming up for them is pretty rough, with atleast 8-9 games out of 12 against teams that would probably be favored if vegas were giving spreads.

If NYK had the current roster they have now all season, id put money on them being a playoff team, They truly do have a number one line that is pretty competitive. Sadly its to late for the squad, this team would need to win out and have teams above them really fall off the cliff. With a tough upcoming schedule and a very tough lost week I think the script has been written.

Honestly the thunder have been pretty mediocre the past couple weeks, but I dont think anyone is taking them lightly here. they need 6 wins to clinch a playoff spot and looking at the schedule here they have 4 guarantees, so 2 wins against comp and they are in the show. Looks promising.

The suns overall are still on a hot run at 13-3 in their past 16 games. They need 8 wins to clinch and that number decreased with every Memphis loss. With 7 games out of their last 12 against teams with non-winning records the suns look to control their own fate and should be a good bet to make the playoffs.

On the surface all looks good for the spurs. You glance and see a 5-1 record this week, then you look close and notice they beat a bad nuggets team by 1, a bad rockets team by 6, and another win was via FF. However, the inconsistent play as of late might not matter that much, considering they only need 6 wins to clinch and 6 of their remaining games come against teams losing records

This team could be 12-12 right now if it wasn't for their whole RA Debacle. This team needs to win out bad, with every L this team takes coming up, it will reduce each teams above theirs magic number. Luckily for them they have a Lax schedule coming up and with the way they've been playing I can see them winning 8 or 9 games out of 12 and I dont believe it will be enough.

Technically the trailblazers are also still alive, however just looking at the remaining schedule its a tough road to get there. They really need to win out from here on out to give them any chance, obviously they wont do that. I wish EZ good luck next season if he decides to return.

I just want to finish this off with a little blip about Denver, 3-21 on the season and 0 FFs. I was watching their stream against my team this week and they were having fun, chatting and just playing the game, This is the least toxic team i've seen and even though obviously the success isn't there Denvers management would get my vote for management of the year, to keep everyone together and have a rotation of guys keep showing up to play and just playing the game and having fun, that is what his league is about. Kudos to to them.
