Public Beta Test on Aug 24th?

I saw on another forum this was a suggestion and it intrigues me. Thought I'd pass on the gossip.

 

Any word on where we would be testing it?

judging by what bungie has always said i'd believe them over other forums. bungie has not gone back on anything thus far i would be surprised to see them waver on this.

They wont be public beta testing, again, I think it's just simply a re-release of the original with some new goodies.

 

It isn't a re-release, and this is why.

If they were going to re-release the game, they would let it be known, they wouldn't just surprise everybody with it. Why? Because then it may be a couple weeks to a month for those who don't check internet gaming sites, and don't have many video game friends. That is why.
