Rainbow six vegas 2

I was just curious on how many people are planning on getting this game next week.

What I was thinking if there was enough interest, we could switch up to R6V2 after this season of COD4. I know with these types of games, the new one is always preffered over the old one.

But this all depends on the interst between the 2 games. Obivously we will stick with the better game, and more people, just wanted to throw this out there for something to think about.

I'm not sure how the two will compare in terms of online play, but if we got some sort of league going for this, I'd definitely be involved, I think.

 

Bones and I had talked about it awhile back. I guess we will know more about it Tuesday. It will all come down to online play, and participation.

 

I will getting Vegas for sure , but not sure about a league for it..

I'll be getting Vegas. If it's anywhere near as good as 1, I'll be addicted to it for a long time.

 

I'll be picking up my copy tomorrow.

 

Damn, I have to wait until tomorrow now. All the ebgames in my area didn't even get enough to fill their pre-orders today

 

I have not bought my copy but so far I have heard that you can pretty much expect new maps for RB6V2. Apparently it's not really an improvement from the last one. I am not sure if I'll buy it based on that. Call of Duty 4 would undoubtedly still be the superiour game.

 

But they've never come out with new maps and I haven't heard of any plans too. That's why I got bored with it. It's a great game, but they need to support it better.

 

I'll stick with Vegas 2 over COD. It must just be me but I hate the jump button and I hate that there aren't any cover options like in Vegas. You can't walk up to a corner and plant againest a wall. In COD only thing you have is crouch or crawl. However, what I'd like to see them fix in Vegas (And not sure if they did in 2), is instead of letting you just move the camera around the corner, you should have to stick or head out to see around the corner.

Overall I loved Vegas 1, so I'm more then willing to spend $60 if I get the same enjoyment out of it that I got out of 1.

 

It's as simple as this, If you loved Vegas 1 you will love Vegas 2. It is a great game. I haven't played much online as I have been playing the story mode and it is great. For any Rainbow fan this game is a must.

 

You guys have convinced me now. I realized how much I loved Vegas when it first came out.
