Real S20 Predictions

These are my predictions for the upcoming season, enjoy.

1. Winnipeg Jets
The Jets claim the top spot in my rankings coming in with a really deep team that I believe will absolutely dominate the regular season. They have an amazing amount of talent in all of their 9 forwards and have arguably 2 first lines with a 3rd line that is one of the best 3rd lines in the league. They have a very formidable defensive core as well with the Norris winner @El Gahndii returning as the GM of the team along with LaFond coming in to play alongside [MENTION=8107]BALLZY15[/MENTION] and [MENTION=9005]l W1tchCraft l[/MENTION]. The only real question I see with this team is how they will handle big games, as they have lost their best 2 players from last seasons championship run, Odie and [MENTION=6798]Trobby Trobs[/MENTION]. They have a better goaiie situation than they had last seasons as well, only time will tell how well the team meshes together but [MENTION=7953]SelkeMarmalade[/MENTION] has put together another very strong team.

2. Ottawa Senators
@Devin l94l has put together another very sold team after being knocked off in the first round of the playoffs last season. Their team looks a bit strong this time around with a little bit stronger defensive core this time around a very good group of forwards including [MENTION=8101]Canucks x 95[/MENTION] @OfficalMark07 and [MENTION=6587]SJUSoccer9[/MENTION] along with Death Studio who I don't feel like figuring out how to spell his new tag. This will give Ottawa 2 very good lines with a good defensive core as well. [MENTION=7765]OvenMitts19[/MENTION] is making the transition to defensive which he can handle with ease in my opinion. This means he will not be able to do that stupid auto toe-drag stupid breakaway move I can never save anymore. Also, with @ll Heyzus ll coming out of retirement at 19 years of age he is a huge addition back to Ottawa's blue-line. Ottawa will finish first in the East and give Winnipeg a run for their money for the Presidents Trophy.

3. Montreal Canadiens
This is another one of the deepest teams in the league with very good forwards like [MENTION=8164]xxDups77xx[/MENTION] and up and comer [MENTION=6931]TheYungProdigy[/MENTION] alongside the King's from the dream team this makes Montreal a very scary team to play against. Looking at all the rankings I don't think that the canadiens or Global have been given much credit but I believe they will be a force to be reckon with. Their D core is a solid bunch of players that is not as strong as the top 2 teams but still a solid group of players. [MENTION=8898]Demers x 67[/MENTION] will be leading the D core along with @iiGl0bal ii. The only weakness I see is their goaltending may cost them a few games, but all and all they are a very solid team who will have a great season.

4. New York Islanders
After having a very solid season last year, they are back at it again with another great team. Owner [MENTION=7667]Brisan66[/MENTION] has done another great job assembling what looks to be a very competitive team. With award winning players such as [MENTION=8196]GB521[/MENTION] and [MENTION=9889]RoWsKi l5l[/MENTION] and almost Norris winner [MENTION=6544]Foote Eh[/MENTION]. This team is filled with great players not to mention one of the their best [MENTION=7672]xFIOx TENDY 29[/MENTION]. This team has a lot of top end players which will be huge in the big games, but are not as deep as the top 3 teams I believe. This team will go as the stars go, so if they get hot they may very well finish top 2 in the league. I think the Rowski will repeat as Vezina winner and have an even better season than he had a season ago. The only question mark is if Shredda is returning, if so teams should watch out, because this team will be dangerous.

5. St Louis Blue
After having an interesting season to say the least last year, [MENTION=6920]BRIERE l48l[/MENTION] has put together another good team with hands down the best goaltending duo in the games. They have a very solid group of forwards to help Briere with the likes of the GM @SaltyMilkBags and @Flow Suace Chew. The only real problem I see with this team is their defense is not too deep and may struggle a bit this season, but I put them as the 5 team because I believe that their goalie tandem will bail them out time and time again, so if the goalies start to struggle, you will also see the Blue go down with them.

6. Washington Capitals [MENTION=7070]Coach Denham[/MENTION] is at it again as he puts together another solid bunch of guys with thumbs, they have good core group of forwards who will be able to put up some goals along with some pretty good defenseman as well. With the likes of [MENTION=6684]I Smash Fatties[/MENTION] and [MENTION=10532]ll Gibby12Yr ll[/MENTION] they have a great top pair. They also have a great goalie in [MENTION=8924]Zero Choice[/MENTION] who will be able to steal some games for the caps. The only real question surrounding this team is that they don't have a solidified top line LW that can carry. They need this top LW to score goals, make plays, and also wiggle his stick a lot. Without this guy they will not be a top 5 team, just a team on the outside looking in.
