No not really. EA Canada must have been foaming at the mouth when they added a sh** load of features. They jam-packed it with probably the best online play you will ever see in a video game. But hey, that's my opinion. I say wait till you play 2k9 and 09 to find out.
I have always favoured 2k - the only reason I did not have both last year is I had the RROD when they came out and by the time I got my box back - everyone was playing EA - so I returned my 2k
proof? sure stats and all that is cool and fun to track but if the game plays like it has the last few years only being playable after spending hours on sliders..i'll pass...again...and yes ull see 2k8 on my gamer card it was given to me.
chicago cyber hockey league - at one time supported on lg. Great league - great players - still some of us around even though I only played one season.
i feel that there is room 4 two hockey games, and one is not better than the other, but i know a couple people who work with ea, and i do trust EA i have been playing since 95 (SEGA Genesis) so usually i buy ea first, also because if u wait till nov or dec u can usually get 2k at about $20 on Ebay which is what i did
another great step for 2K. so tris, this means that LG will have 4 leagues simultaneously running a full length season? could we do this by age.... hehehehe (younger players are quick than the older ones.)
you played hockey games when you were two? i know i started late but damn. if ****ers start playing at two years old im even further behind than i thought.
but yeah. this sounds pretty good. i might have to think about getting 2k again. last one i played was 2k6 for xbox which kicked ass. the games after that were kinda meh.
I only ditched 2K when you invited me to come here. I remember some nights when you and I would play like 3-4 games in a row. Good times. I'll have both games and would be interested in the 2K9 league.
