The crazy semi-pro ones. I'd buy everything all over just for that as my guitar doesn't really work anyway lol
send it in for warranty exchange! why are you people holding onto broken equipment and not doing anything about it??? back when the 60 day warranty period was being (somewhat) enforced, i had my drums replaced right before my warranty ran out. they weren't broken, but they were starting to wear out so i got them replaced. you have until October to get RB1 gear replaced - no questions asked. Activision/Red Octane's warranty is not as generous. no slack whatsoever. and when one of my GH3 axes died post warranty, they wouldn't even offer an option to buy a replacement from them. at the time, the stand alone axes weren't even available yet...they expected me to buy a whole new bundle to replace my busted one. douche-bags.
I just really wish it was Roland that was making the premium set. Roland is well known and makes the best quality electronic drum kits. Never have heard of Ion before. I'm hoping you can add additional drums to be used away from the game. Example: actual hi-hat pedal, another crash, a double bass pedal. I'm gonna guess the drums alone will retail for $99.99.
BTW Murph, now that world tour is online, You up for starting a band? What instrument do you prefer to play?
are the NHL08 goalies swiss cheese glove side high? HELLS YEAH!! guitar or drums. sounds like you'll be able to switch it up each time you play in RB2. i can beat hard on guitar and get about 50% through on drums. definitely a better guitarist at this point although i love to beat those skins...especially when the downstairs neighbor isn't home.
Wow...I must say...Even though I haven't actually gotten the game myself (RB1), I've played it enough times to know how fun it is. I was thinking since RB2 is due for this September I'll buy that and maybe pick-up the original RB (game only) just for kicks. There's still some thinking to do on that front. Anyway, looking at the very limited set of songs we currently have courtesy of the GI issue and giving the ones I didn't know a listen...this is going to be one fun disc of music.

cool, so you will be able to "export" all rb1 songs into rb2. So even if you dont own RB1 you probably could just rent and rip it to your xbox hdd
Are you ****ing kidding me? It's not like they are a Roland set, they don't come with the brains to turn it into a actual electronic kit. A actual electronic kit has a hi-hat pedal, a actual bass drum head(may not be a big deal for some but as of now no way to turn it into a double bass) and normally another crash. I'm gonna guess the brains cost another $200, so for $499 you could have a electronic kit. Frankly if I was gonna spend that much, I'd spend a bit more and a name brand set.
I like the other list too, but this one still has a ton of good ones. Can't wait for the "official" word. So that deluxe drumset isn't being manufactured/bundled with the game? Its a third party kit?
