Reset is ideal it’s just such a pain in the ass to make happen

From the looks of play in the beta 6v6. I see top players of nhl and ahl losing big or winning by 1 goal margins, to teams they normally got to quit out. I think the skill gap has become closer than ever before. It could also be, good players havent re-adapted to this type play. I have found that its more like 12-14 type play,arcadish but realistic in actual team strategy. So a reset would be a fresh start and with the game changing,as much as it has. It would be a perfect time to test new and old roster players nhl and ahl a like. Just my thoughts on the new gameplay and new skill set it will bring out, to be a top team.

Even if u cant do a full roster reset..why can't you do a expansion like draft, just no expansion team. Each playoff team holds onto 3 players of choice with no boundaries. Each non playoff team has to hold onto 4 to 5, bottom 4 teams must hold 5. The rest sent into bidding, still leaving a gap for bad franchises to catch up to, but not making the teams uncompetitive and unattainable for success and a fun season.

Re-signs..... Contract buyouts.... If you do your contracts right you can have 3-5 guys returning that are worth it.
