THE CURSE IS OVER! FIRST TEAM TO WIN THE PRESIDENT'S TROPHY AND THE STANLEY CUP. Never post threads but thought this deserved one. First I wanna say ggs to everyone we played in the regular season and playoffs, a lot of good teams and they all had great seasons. Really enjoyed the balance of S28. Good series to the Stars, Avs, SHARKS & the Isles. Thanks to my AHL guy @Clancy2113 for helping us out throughout the whole season whenever I needed something, last minute or not he'd come through. Heard a bunch of people having issues with their AHL GMs and I was fortunate to not have one issue all season. Thanks for giving me one less problem to worry about. Also thanks to the players that helped ecu whenever we needed them or were available if I did need them. Greatly appreciated. Now to the boys that showed up! Thanks to our entire team for not being cancer after a loss or when things weren't going right and getting the job done when it mattered. Knew we had a great team but even when someone had an off night, others stepped up. Had a bunch of guys I didn't have high expectations for when I first acquired them but they did what they had to do and won the big ones when we needed em to win. Proud of all you guys! Didn't wanna take owner/mgmt this season cause I just wanted to play and knew it was gonna be shitty, and it was shitty at the start don't get me wrong, but after you get the team you want by trading for some good quality people it wasn't so bad. Got a lot of respect for long time owners after this season @brandovedo @SweeT 9 LoU 84 @BigJayAyotte @Duggan @STlCK you guys are the GOATs for doing what you do every season and dealing with all the bullshit. Personally won't ever be taking Ownership again, just isn't for me. Might take a page out of @SJUSoccer9 's book one day and be a do fk all GM but probably not any time soon. Technically back to back cup wins for moi, S26 with the SHARKS, retired S27, won S28. So might be time to take another break. Good luck to the rest of you guys next season, have fun.
