Saint Louis Trading Company - The last 24 hours have seen huge moves, but has Saint Louis come out on top?. Saint Louis headlines the trade news over the past 24 hours with a trio of of trades that sees a chance in almost 50% of their roster on top of trading away players that they had just traded for. Let's do a quick recap of all the mayhem and see where they ended up. Starting with this blockbuster between Saint Louis and Nashville: SamDelisle9 Pogs l Sakic l epeople Chunx xChief 27 1st Round Draft Pick To Saint Louis for: Woahmack APX 7080 SurpriseMe22 Regs84 ll 72 ll K1eetus 2nd Round Draft Pick SamDelise is a fantastic player who was likely very unhappy in Nashville and it showed in his stats. Nashville takes on a now equally unhappy Woahmack now that he is in a Predator uniform. APX didn't play a game this week for unknown reasons, but if he does show it would be an even swap for both teams. Sakic and Epeople for Regs and SurpriseMe isn't a huge shift either. Chunx and Chief for 72 and Kleetus leaves Saint Louis much better off in my opinion. Winner: Saint Louis, they obtained the better star in Sam and improved their defense while offloading a player that didn't play for them last week. Following that up is a trade between Saint Louis and Pittsburgh.... NfldTim xTheos l7l 1st Round Draft Pick To Saint Louis for: SamDelisle9 epeople This is a HUGE move for Brando, who was likely looking for a shakeup after a rough start to the season. Sam should mesh really well with the Penguins core and also brings in a much needed top line center. Theos is an elite LW/RW, but I have never seen him play center nor expect him to for Saint Louis. Tim for Epeople is hard to tell, but I'd learn toward Epeople having more value. It looks like Brando agrees, as he sent over their first round pick along with the pair of players. Winner: Pittsburgh. They come out with the critical top line center that every team needs while Saint Louis is looking at a large list of wingers and now lack that top center that contending teams have. Then ANOTHER trade between Saint Louis and Arizona: l Scopes x l20l Weldxr 4th Round Draft Pick To Saint Louis for: l Sakic l Pogs 1st Round Draft Pick 3rd Round Draft Pick This is the tamest one of the trio but still impacts the look of the Blues roster significantly. They moved two centers for a LW/RW duo that works well together. I think the value going both ways is very similar in terms of who got the most value but this trade leaves Saint Louis in a serious need of centers. Will Chislett be moving to center or will Theos be the choice to fill their much needed 1st line center position? Or are we going to see another huge trade happen before Sunday's deadline? @APsychicTaco i'll shed some light into the situation. 1. Sam was fint with being here and his stats weren't as good because we as a whole were not producing. 2. Chief wasnt a good fit and neither was Chunx. 3. We didn't want to get rid of Epeople, Sakic and Pogs but it happens.
