Nuge / Tris can somebody explain the scoring system? I noticed last night that Never Unlucky beat Relentless and earned 12 points for the win. Crease Crashers beat Relentless later in the night and earned 8 points. Is there a flaw with the algorithm or is this correct? I think our win was in OT, do OT wins get rewarded with less points? If so, that seems like something that should probably be looked into. I can understand that a OTL should be worth losing less points but I don't see how the win should be as well.
Regulation Win: +3% of opposing teams points + 2 Points OT Win: +2% of opposing teams points + 1 point OT Loss: -2% of own teams points + 1 point Regulation Loss: -3% of own teams points
Why are OT wins valued less? I see the logic of punishing OTLs less but OTWs should have equal value, no?
