He was traded just after week 4 to the Blackhawks where he helped them capture the league's best regular season record. Fox boasts the most goals scored among the finalists and the best takeaway/giveaway ratio. He led the Hawks defensemen in goals and takeaways. @l T Nicholls l 20-5-3 33P 2G 31A +30 Nicholls was the only player of the finalists that played solely on a team that missed the playoffs: the Edmonton Oilers. Nicholls led his team in plus-minus, was 2nd among his teammates in assists, and led all defensemen on his team in points. Furthermore, he led all the finalists in points per game against playoff teams where his record was 9-5-1. Nicholls also finished 4th in the league in points among defensemen. @Nraimondi44 21-5-1 37P 4G 33A +40 Nraimondi had a slow start on the Anaheim Ducks as the team struggled early on; however, as the team picked up its play he quickly picked up the pace. He led all finalists in points, assists, and plus-minus. In addition, he had the 2nd highest personal powerplay among finalists. He also led his team in plus-minus, and led the defensemen on his team in several categories including points, goals, and assists. Nraimondi finished 2nd in the league in points among defensemen. @Odieeeeee 22-5-1 27P 4G 23A +26 Last year's Norris winner comes back with another solid season. He led the Shark's defensemen in points, assists, plus-minus, and takeaways. He had the highest amount of wins among finalists as well as leading the finalists in personal penalty kill, personal powerplay. He also had the lowest goals allowed with 38 and the lowest goals against per game among the finalists. Odie tied for 1st for the highest number of wins in the league among defensemen. @Pandaleupagus 20-4-3 27P 4G 23A +26 The only finalist that played the entire season on an Eastern Conference team. Panda had the most games played and wins against playoff teams among the finalists. He also had the most assists, points, and takeaways against playoff teams, and led all finalists in takeaways and own end efficiency (tied with Odie). Panda led the Senators defensemen in points, goals, assists, plus-minus, and takeaways.
