Season 9 Owner's Application

We had a good season with season 8 but had too few teams. I think we can all agree on that. We'd like to increase the number of teams and we need owners for that but more so we need members to fill teams. It's really on everyone here to help fill as the best to way to increase any league is by word of mouth.

Overall we'll be keeping with many of the same things. We do plan on changing a few rules around and perhaps a thing here or there to help out but we want you guys to all come back and have fun.

We will be requiring a few scouting games also. Details will be given upon selection



THIS WILL BE AN NBA TEAMUP LEAGUE. NOT, I REPEAT, NOT A MYPLAYER LEAGUE.

 

A questionnaire will also be given out to all applicants to test your knowledge of what is expected of the league.

We'll do a team draft in a week. We plan on running the offseason for a longer period to get as many sign ups as possible and not start the league until after trade Deadline has passed.

Also we will be removing all teams that have been used in the 1st two seasons for this season. Season 10 will have all teams available but we're going to continue to mix up teams for one more.

Why should you be given an ownership position? I'm active with most all of my guys make sure they know when games are. I even use training camp players. (Can I get my owner of the year yet?)

Team is irrelevent, no preference really, I doubt I will be given a position, but if I get elected for a GM position I can personally guarantee at least 3 more sign ups into the league. I have been controlling a team on Gamebattles (MLG) for the past 4 years and have extensive experience in reporting in a timely manner and maintaining a positive playing experience. Vote for me

Why should you be given an ownership position? I'm active plus I would like a chance to redeem myself from quitting a few seasons ago, I had a lot going on and quit and it was wrong the way I left and I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance and I would like to prove I can run a team successfully.

Why should you be given an ownership position?

I should be given an ownership spot because I know the ins and outs of the LG website and can guarantee you that stats + lines are entered on time. I can also help grow the league through streaming during any games possible. Lastly, I'm dedicated to LG as a whole making sure that anything I do is done the right way from the league's constitution and website perspective.

Why should you be given an ownership position? I've been a solid Owner in the LGBA, the past two seasons. I have rarely allowed a forfeit by my team, give everybody on my team a chance to play, and do not quit even if our season has been a bust. I know the rules and regulations of the league, and communicate with the other Owners and Management.

Management or staff experience(can be in any league): I was gm for the VFL and VBA for about 5 seasons on league arena.
Why should you be given an ownership position? I should be given an owner position because i know how the league works and know how to get things done. I know the rules and how to communicate with other owners. I want to step up and make a change , and stop the inconsistency. I can have a team that doesnt have one game forfeited , because if you run the team right with the right people you wont need to miss a game. Im active and will be able to have full control of my team all season long even when im not home. I may not have been an owner before but it was because i never had to be. To make this league more successful it starts with the owners, the owner makes the team work, and i can make sure my team works.
Please include your gm choice. l scrat l would be my gm choice because he knows how to work the computer aspect really well , like stats input, rules , etc. and hes someone i know and trust. He will also be streaming every game that i dont.

Why should you be given an ownership position? I have had a positive experience in my AGM role with the Wash and believe I would be able to have 2 squads that would both play each week and also a few more backups. I have a great understanding how everything works on the mgt side and believe the tools are there to communicate with the team and get players to show for games. Running the team from day one will allow me to have no forfeits.
