SECBig12 S1 Preseason/Week 1 **Accept Invites**

Just played my game and I can definitely see what you guys were talking about. These sliders definitely weren't tested first.

The kick off returns are a direct result of CPU:

Run Blocking 70%
RB Ability 70%

Not sure why we want the WR to drop even more passes than they did last year either. They drop tons of passes as it is, but it seems as if we are suppose to catch everything ourselves now.


Anyway, in my personal opinion, the sliders are not very good. Unless you want to watch the computer run down the field in a handful of plays and score virtually every time they get the ball. That is, if they just dont return the kickoff for a td. IF you do happen to catch them, they have a short field. Gives you more time on offense cause they will score pretty quick.

Sorry, just frustrated right now.

I must of had those sliders saved to my console and when I started the online Dynasty it just took them with it. I will jump on and adjust it back now. I play with the CPU higher so they can actually gain yards on me. At 50 I was shutting down their running game.

Alright I adjusted those sliders. Other than that how is running, passing, rush and pass defense? Any adjustments needed?

The thing I didn't like about NCAA 2009's Dynasty is that playing against the CPU was an automatic victory. I can see if you play Duke or Vandy getting a W, but I want to make it where if you play a high ranked opponent you actually have a chance of losing.

 

yeah, I would think if we wanted to do that, then we need to make sure that the CPU QB is not at 45 and same with the CPU WR. I haven't seen what you put them back to. On heisman, at least for me right now, it is not a given win with all the sliders on 50 playing on Heisman. I have played some games and even lost to AUB, Baylor and some other real scrub team. it was sad and pitiful, but I am not that good with this particular game yet. I'm sure I will be in a couple more weeks, but it is too hard for me to tell right now on anything other than the default sliders. I guess what really happens to me personally is I can start off pretty good on the CPU in the beginning of the game, but they always come back on me in the second half and I get to the point I can't stop them anyway. I really have to gameplan, I can just call plays and run them. That is where I am right now. Not sure about anyone else, but just thought I would throw that out there.

 

so all 50's CPU and User? no adjustments to tone down or up anything?

 

For me personally and my experiences, no. But I am not the best player in this league either.... so we have to take that at what its worth. I'm sure half way through the season, that will change as well....

Maybe some of the other guys can chime in.

 

yes chime in I will set it in the morning based on feedback. As or right now if I don't hear from anyone it will be all 50's.

 

I don't really recall my game much to be honest. I don't think there was any problems though..

 

My team dropped 11 straight passes in my game, it was painful...

 

I think EA is probably feverishly working on some patches like they have to every year.

i dont really know what to suggest all i know is i couldnt stop returns or anything else, Baylor scored 73 points on me. Everytime they have the ball they would score in 1-3 plays no matter what i did, people would break tackles that had no business breaking tackles, like it was said you have to really game plan now, no more just picking a play and running it.

 

Uh oh. You zone guys might have to play some man to man.

 

Dynasty servers are down, tried for about an hour, I work 8-8 tomorrow so I can play after I get done I guess, sorry man.

 

No biggie. The deadline is tomorrow anyways. I was just hoping to advance tonight so I could play my week 2 game.

 

yeah, it seems like they are down a lot. At least for me they have been. Hope that gets cleared up soon.

I get the dynasty down thing a bit, but i just click "retry now" and it was working fine for me..

 

Mine game was played last night, Ohio St was still up.
