Was wondering if there was a way we could put our GamerCard in our signature as xbox gives us the code to use for example for my gt it would be this: <iframe src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/NYEXTREME.card" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" height="140" width="204">NYEXTREME</iframe> was wondering if we would beable to enable the html coding for our sig so we can put in our gamercard just a suggestion. juji and i have been lookinig into this since it was released. We will update this thread if we come up with a place to put this.
Easy way to do it is to allow html in your sigs, and add iframe to the list of allowed html commands. Safer way, but more pain in the arse way, would be to insert it in viewtopic tpl in the left column under location and such w/ a checkbox in the profile to enable it. If checked, it pulls the value of your Xbox handle, inserts % symbols for any spaces, and puts it in the column as a semi-static item, or at least an item that a user couldn't change what the iframe is doing. But there may be a bunch of other tpl files that would need to be updated in order for it to appear correctly. It's totally doable just playing w/ the code can be interesting. I wouldn't think that allowing users to put it in their sig would be a good idea because they could change the coding to do whatever they wanted. :roll:
just make sure you use the correct variable names as that tutorial uses one called "gamertag", not sure what you guys have here.
i think they use Xbox Handle as the variable well at least that what it is in the profile. I'm not that good with php so i dunno lol.
ya we could just take xbox handle, but again. We tried putting this in the left col and it looks terrible, so we are exploring other options in where to place it
worked out ok on my forum, may not look the best, but i'm in the middle of a redesign, so don't really care.

Yes, that looks good. Plus I really like how we have our teams and reliability here and wouldn't want that to change.
