There will be enough people to start off the Pre-Season with 2 full leagues of 30 players.

League 1 was placed with Site Commissioners/Captains along with some of their friends that they like to play with. And then the rest of the teams were distributed by what team was available an kind of how long you have been at the site.

If I could not find an open team that you had listed then I would look for someone who wanted one of the open teams left and then that would allow that person to get their #1 pick in league 2.

League 1 and 2 will both have some very dedicated players and at the same time both might loss a few players by the end of pre-season. So with that League 1 will be the league that is kept full at 30 players which is why it leads to the name of "Majors" or "MLB". League 2 was basically thought of having a name of "Minors" or "AAA" for the reason that it may not be a full league not allowing the NL and AL to be balanced.

So Even though one might be placed into League 2 it just means that I wanted to get you one of your top choices that was already taken by someone who had either been here longer or has been more active.

Out ot the 2 Leagues here is how things are shaping up so far based on the Top 5 picks.
    League 1 has 23 recieving their 1st Pick, 3 their 2nd, 2 their 4th and 2 their 5th.
    League 2 has 14 their 1st, 6 their 2nd, 2 their 3rd, 2 their 4th, 3 their 5th, and 3 with unlisted pick.

I think everyone will be happy with how the team selection has happened to try and get everyone a team on their list and with currently only having 3 being assigned without a team on the list.

Hope this helps resolve any confusion about what has been speculated up to this point.

As long as I get my Angels, I am one happy camper

Nah but seriously, which ever league I get into is fine with me, I am just hoping I am not one of those 2 people who will not make the cut into either league. For those who do not know, there are 62 sign-ups, and only 60 possible spots for 2 leagues lol.

DeNMaN told me that that information will be released around the 24th, possibly earlier depending on if he can get all the inforamtion in, so I guess we will have to wait a few more days [-(

Not yet as it isn't completly finalized yet, however it might be finalized sooner than the 24th like originally planned as today was when orginally signups were going to start and there is currently 63 signed up with the first 30 being within 24hrs of the signup being posted.

I like that idea too, provided that both leagues use the same settings, have the same schedule, etc... then it would be truely for the overall title.

    wow - great job.

this is quite an undertaking, running essentially a 60-player league...

let's all remember to work together to make it work!

    this should be very exciting!

(i see people comparing there own team's performance to the same team in the other league!)

    also,

how about the 2 players with the same team play a 7-game series to see who plays MLB, and who plays AAA?!?!

there is no AAA. Both leagues are considered EQUAL. One mite be called American and one National or MLB 1 and MLB 2. Only Denman knows for sure

Seriously, get over it. As I said in another post, you should be thankful they are taking the time to create 2 leagues, instead of leaving a full 30 man waiting list. It doesn't really matter MLB, and AAA. Just be thankful they created a 2nd league for everybody who is going to be in it!

Denman...I know you'll have your hands full with this whole process over the next few days, but have you considering making the one league composed of people that reside in the east, and one from the west. Just thought that scheduling the games might easier if the people in your league were in comparable time zones.

Pinstripe, I hadn't thought of that so I will definetly take a look at it but my main concern is ensuring one complete league first followed by trying to allow for the best team on your list of teams that I can work out. So making a split between 2 might make it difficult but I wll take a look at it.

Calling the leagues American and National would be kind of confusing dont you think? So we'd have the Yankees in the American league in the American league and the Yankees in the American league in the National leauge? lol :)
