Thanks to Nosice we will be hosting a Forza League! (yay) There is so much that can be done with this league so lets get the ball rolling, What would be cool for the teams, Should every team be a colour and their cars be that paint colour? Also maybe every team could give a number to each of their members and they could spray paint that on their car... What do you guys think?
The possibilities are endless. We will have to have a draft for numbers. You don't want to have 2 or more with the same number, regardless of team affiliation. That way we could have simple icons in our team ownership that shows our number and team color in the background. I'm horrible when it comes to car designs. Maybe my man Juji will come on board and be a part of my team. That boy is one talented designer when it comes to the paintshop. I'm very excited about this. I have been wanting a racing league for some time and now it's starting to come together.
I want my team Cincy Bengals black and orange. That way it'll be easy to see the leader when I'm in front of everyone lol. I think it'd be cool to have team cars be the same color, maybe with the LG logo. Everybody could either A)use whatever number they want or B)the number on the car could equal what team number we are. I think teams should be picked random or get us all together for a night of racing 3-4 tracks to see who's faster and who's slower. That way we don't get two fast people on one team. Anyway just a few thoughts, looking forward to it. edit: Was just thinking I really like the way the IROC (International Race of Champions) does it. Each car is painted exactly the same (Sponser/design) only thing different is the color and the number 1-12. See Below
just to clairify what i thought about the team #'s, Do it the same way every north american sport does it. Where each team can have a #99 or #13. But those numbers can't be repeated on the same team, ALA NHL, NFL,NBA, MLB
If I had the game I could design some paint jobs for you guys. Maybe I'll give it a rent and come up with some stuff.
I think the teams should have the same logo/colour and have each members of the team have different numbers.
The ones that Jeffrey posted would be easy to do and would be cool for everyone to have one of those. And I like the number idea :mrgreen:
I'm all up for making sure the team #'s are present more then the colors and design...since i suck at it .
I'll let nosice make the official annoncement, but i would expect to see 4. That way a race could have 2 racers from each team
All we'd need is one person make a design (if we are all using the same cars) Cam already has a car with a LG logo. Lets say we are running Mini's, then we could all gift a car to that person(I'm more then willing to help), he slaps the design on it and regifts it back to us. Then all we'd have to do is change #'s and overall color of the car. The only time we'd run into a problem with that is if we are running A,S,U or R cars. I don't have any of those cars unlocked yet. I'm not sure but I don't think you can customize cars that you haven't bought in career mode.
Oh, if you go and buy a car, or get a car gifted, you can do anything to it you want. I have a few cars that i bought in the auction house that I have customized that I dont even have unlocked yet.
In racing they don't have duplicate numbers (regardless of team affiliation) for example, in NASCAR, there is only one #8 car in the NEXTEL Cup series. No one other than Dale Jr. has #8. That is why we should have a draft for numbers.
I agree with MGM, we should have unique numbers for everybody regardless of what team they are on (there's more than enough to go around). I'd love to see team paint jobs and/or logos for the cars with everyone having their own number, but I think that the simpler the car painting the better so that they can be easily adapted to different cars.
