this game would fit right in here.. i say season 7 we use this game instead of the regular mlb game from 2k...
2K is doing what EA is doing with the NFL license - milk it to the extreme. The Bigs would have been a great mode for MLB 2K7. Fortunately 2K was stupid enough to buy the third party license.

Yeah I never did quite get that. 07 and World Cup being two seperate titles when by all rights World Cup should have been free DLC if not included in the original package. I wouldn't piss on a Fifa Street disc to put out a fire though. Is it really "ok" for any of these milkings? They should be free expansions or very cheap ones, not standalone games. When it comes down to it though, 2k and EA are both out to get every dime out of people that they can, 2k just tries (though not always succeeds) to bring a more robust experience for your money.
The only game my son has asked for has been The Bigs and almost ever day since I bought it for him I come home from work to him and his friends playing against each other. You don't get it because it's not marketed to your demographic. I don't get it either but the kiddies love it.
I read the review, wish there was a demo. It seems a little more in depth than I gave it credit for. I'll stick with The Show on my psp.
Swiper has a hatred for 2k? Never noticed :roll: I did play both the PSP and 360 versions my son has. It's pretty fun but I think it will get old quick the more sim players out there.
I don't hate 2k , I hate the way people play 2k games.... shooting 3 pointers when up by 30 in the 4th qtr or scoring that ever important 11th goal when you are up by 10 kills me , 2k has a major momentum swing system in place that people take advantage of and pour it on. :wink:
There is no advantage in gameplay in the other brands. Are you trying to tell me NBA Live would be more fun to play in league play? No game is a perfect representation of the actual sport but 2k deserves alot of credit for making quite a few pretty damn close. Oh and yeah swiper you do dislike 2k but it's not because it's personal, its just because it has been the better of the two brands for league play for years.
NBA LIVE 07 sucked a$$ , NBA 2K7 is the best game that 2k has ever created period. The statement made in Bold is not valid since EA does not offer Leagues.
It's just the best sports brand out there, it shouldn't be but it just keeps doing it year after year.
Well there was no football game the last 3 years and the MLB game is average at best. So by best sports brand i guess you mean hockey and basketball? Well 50% aint bad i guess....
