Well I would like to say congrats to both teams and thanks to all team in the league. We had our ups and down for this season. We fought through everything and the season was completed with no drama in the playoffs. Which to me was the best part of the season. To have Playoffs with no drama is amazing if you ask me.

Congrats to Washington for winning the SC in Season 13 and Special thanks to Phoenix for it's hard fought battle to get the Stanley Cup. The road for them wasn't easy and they had to beat the best team in the league this season.

Hope to see you all return for NHL 13 season 14 of LG.

Philly Bball...what did you do all year? Am I unaware of your superstar status in this league? I do know...you are a runner-up. Nice season.

 

I know I am not a super star in this league but the fact that you act like you did something on that goal is pathetic. you were a negative in the regular season and playoffs. My mistake i forgot your good. You got carried buddy. Good try.

 

Hahaha...the acceptance was a joke. Like you. I'm not even sure if I touched the puck. The goal was a joke. Like you. Before you advance further with some weak retort....please remember, tool, we are talking because you can't stop running your mouth. Take the loss, learn from it, come back next year. Dry up the tears...try not to slit your wrist over the loss of an LG Championship.

On another note, Coyotes you had a great season. I feel bad about the way it ended...but it is EA.

 

Playoff Overveiw

Wings Vs Blues
The Blues were the first team to take a crack at the Presidents Thophy winners. Blues came up short but they went down with a fight and a handshake.

Caps Vs Bruins
The Caps finished the season as the winner of the East, the Bruins had been on top of the East for most of the season but late season trades softened the Bruins up for The Caps.

Flyers Vs Pens
Home Ice was decided by 1 win, there was no underdog. The series was the last stand in their season long race.

Yotes Vs Hawks
The Hawks had been kicking the Yotes all season, the playoffs just happend to be when it was time they bit back. Hawks had an excellent season and had a deep, organized team with hard to defend offence.

Yotes Vs Wings
Without question this series changed the playoffs for the League. The Cup felt like it belonged to the Wings. It was right place right time for the Yotes. The Difference in many of the games came down to who picked up a couple more of those loose pucks.

Caps Vs Flyers
The Flyers flew thru the last part of the Season, with new management, new players and a whole lot of momentum. Caps essentially beat the Flyers in 5, even with that said it was a close series of games.

Caps Vs Yotes
The Caps had a dump n'chase-oldtime-hockey style, and the Yotes strictly defended their nets in their last 2 series, the Caps were forcing the D to move and it shaped the series. Caps had a good Goalie that didn't let the tough games get to him, Defense made goals difficult, and the Forwards found a way to get it done. The Coyotes may have got caught thinking the war was over on their way into Washington.

The Caps have been classy throughout the entire playoffs, and if i was to give a LadyByng to a team it would go right beside the Cup.

hate to say it but dump and chase is not old time hockey LOL old time hockey was carry the puck end to end and try and score watch hockey today 90% of the game is dump and chase learn your facts about hockey before you say "old time hockey" and shit like that.

 

Old time hockey has nothing to do with taking it end to end. I know my facts about hockey.

I was trying to say the style was not typical of the average elite 6, that is all.

Browness played 2 games only in the caps vs flyers series. Not saying it would of been any different but it would hve had my availability been better

 

I was trembling at the thoughts of playing against the great Browness & yet disappointed that I didn't get to see the living legend in action. Maybe next season.

 

Yikes, rough goal! Does that goalie and d-man get to grab a picture with the Cup too
