Out of curiosity I just wanted to see a public poll for the people who participated in the last two events and see where we stand as a community behind this new Esport Event.

Us as the members of LG appreciate all the people who devoted their time to making this new esport event possible and should never take anything like this for granted. Cheers.

This game has no future in esports with the current gameplay.

I personally prefer how it was done before. Just make a team and stay together. #RatedR

I think we should have both. The nightly tournaments are fun and exciting (and it caters to higher exposure outside of the community), but a lot of top teams can't commit to 6 games a night, especially not with the current lobby and matchmaking issues / unreliability...

I personally prefer a few games a week, for the duration of a season.

I say let the top teams duke it out with the nightly tournaments, but bring the "divisions" back. Lets get real - the top 4 or 5 teams are going to win consistently, and there's no TRUE shot for the lesser teams to break that barrier. There should be an "open" division like there was in the past, with something like an 8 team bracket for Invite for the one-night tourneys. Give the lesser / newer teams something to work towards, while also providing an equally competitive tourney for them without getting first rounded every time. The less talented teams WILL stop signing up for tournaments if they're getting 1st / 2nd rounded consistently in the 16 team brackets.

I spoke out about this in the ESHL discord the other day, and almost immediately got removed... funny how that works, when 71% of the community seems to prefer the old format as well.

You didnt get removed. Your access was restricted because it was supposed to be an Owners only chat and someone unlocked it all for everyone. There is a future suggestions channel on discord that gives everyone the chance to express their opinions.

Also, the community heavily favored this new format. Now that it is here, the community instantly wants to bail on it. Funny how that works...

This is thread where everyone was happy and excited for the new format: https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums/index.php?threads/future-eshl-suggestion.274291/
