http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=305669&cc=5901 The article says that Vieira has agreed to terms with Real Madrid and the possible transfer could take place in a matter of days
Old news  Heard about this two days ago. Talks about this deal started while I was still in England. They were after Arsenal for either Thiery Henry or Partick Vieria, and they got one like they always do. All this is doing however is loading it up to get rid of Beckham as they wanted to.
You couldn't of heard about it a few days ago because they just agreed to a price yesterday...hence why the article was written on the 27th....But yes there had been talks of this deal going on for quite some time now
Stop the childish banter, they can take the captain, we still have the Barclaycard Player of the Year and the Barclaycard Golden Boot.
Well it isn't official as of yet Vieria's agent is saying. He is claiming Patrick hasn't verbally committed to it. Interesting this. For a better read on it, head over to: CLICK HERE
Yeh, I don't know if I would go, the Spanish Premiera doesn't have the same prestige as the Premiership.
Well, it has stretched even further. A friend of Patrick Vieria claims that he will remain a Gunner next season, but Spanish reports keep stating that he will go to Real Madrid instead. Something really needs to happen here. For further details, please: CLICK HERE
There is also something else that I heard, I can't remember the name but he plays in the Premiership and had talks of moving to the Gunners for next season as he is a good friend of Viera's.
Well, reports are saying this deal is official now. Just got done talking to my cousin Martin, and he told me on British T.V. right no, all they are showing is Patrick Vieria, and that usually means he is going. Here is a report from TSN.CA: CLICK HERE
Yeh, Arsenal and Real agreed to terms, but asked for some time so that they could line up a replacement.
Well it looks like they are getting even richer. They are closing in on an 8 million pound transfer with Michael Owen and Liverpool. For more on the story, please:
Yeah, only problem, is where and when is he going to play? Real Madrid now has to share the striker position between Michael Owen, Raul, and Ronaldo. I mean those are 3 world class strikers for their respective countries (Michael Owen-England, Raul-Spain, and Ronaldo-Brazil), but unfortunately you only have 2 striker positions. I see Owen becoming maybe a mid fielder so that it accomodates Raul and Ronaldo better.
Woohoo, Real Madrid, as if they don't already have enough superstars, today paid for a transfer fee, of 13.4 million pounds, roughly $28 million USD, in which they acquired Jonathan Woodgate, a solid defenseman who they acquired just 18 months ago. FULL STORY
