    How would the bracket work then? Because 44 divided by 2 is 22, then 22 divided by 2 is 11 which is an odd number.

    Actually it'd have to be 64 in order for no one to get a bye. Because 48 divided by 2 is 24, and 24 divided by 2 is 12, and 12 divided by 2 is 6, and 6 divided by 2 is 3 which is an odd number.


    Only 16, 32 and 64 work in order to have a perfect bracket. Or basically 2 to the power of any number.
