To the AHL

Everyone in the AHL, you are the reason I’ve stayed down here for 4 seasons. I respect everyone single one of you for your class and respect. Everyone knows there is a toxicity between the leagues and this just goes to show the difference.

I posted a thread in both the NHL & AHL forums regarding the early passing of Celia Barquin. And don’t get me wrong, the majority of NHL players are incredibly awesome people, but there are some heartless people that just ruin the experience.

To the NHL/AHL/CHL players that respond to this thread in good faith, or don’t respond at all, I am greatful for you. You are good people. Even if you do not agree between the personality comparison between the NHL & AHL, those are your opinions & I still respect you.

For ALL the players that are salty, even if you did not see, speak, or adhere in any manner regarding this thread and/or the thread I posted for Celia, I am sorry you feel the way you do. If you feel the need to combat this thread, privately or publicly, that’s on you as a person.

I know this will spike conoversy, so you do you.

 

There's still a handful of douchebags in the AHL though. Just not as many

 

If you're not friends with the NHL guys its a shit show up there. Your treated like shit and your nothing..AHL is a better community which is why i will forever be grateful for the friends I made down here. R.I.P Celia!

LG is obviously his life, probably doesn't know how to socially interact with his peers without a keyboard and monitor in front of him. Brain is probably defected because it doesn't have a filter, thus he spits out whatever he's thinking even tho its the most senseless thing I've ever heard.

 

One response from one individual doesnt represent the entire league of the NHL. Not one person liked deesa comment below and one person's opinion shouldn't reflect on the entire community.

 

You can't mute him, he won't be able to beg for an AHL GM after eldo quits.

 

The NHL as a whole needs to be checked. They could probably use a not so gently administered enema. Truthfully the NHL needs my media presence. If I ever make it up there as a regular as doubtful as that seems I say watch your ass NHL. I will be unfiltered. Just use some common sense when posting people. Maybe read it once or twice before hitting post?

I agree with 4th and Fox. It really isn't everyone. But it seems hard to find the good ones some days.

i have to say deesa is pretty chill. taco is scum who lives for internet drama....and yes the majority of the nhl is toxic ive proved this during my ownership. but you got to be the bigger person and ignore the trolls

I agree on you for the whole reflecting the community cause yes some guys are nice up there, but if you notice its the same guys playing with each other every season for the most part and alpt have big egos.The community never changes and if your not friends with NHL guys its a shitshow from my experiences.

 

no im speaking from experience the community in the nhl is toxic this guy is right. you are a big part of that
