I keep seeing stellar reviews, so I don't understand the lack of advertising for it. This game definitely deserves TV time. The only thing I can think of is that they are waiting for an Xbox Live stress test.

Like I said, nothing but stellar reviews, but everyone says this game will be a "sleeper" and will be overlooked on the shelves due to the sport it showcases...... erggg

Don't worry, its probably better that you didn't play. The game is still tennis, but the feel for it will be different. So you don't have to break any habbits by it. Sort of like moving from Madden to ESPN Football. The game is the same, but controls aren't. It took a while getting used to.

As long as it has unforced errors when you use the "high risk" shots, I'll be happy. And not just shots going long or wide, I want some shots going into the net too. From what I've read in the operationsports.com forum about the game, you only get unforced errors on risk shots though, and not regular ones... which means that if you never take a risk shot and can always get to the ball, you'll have some really really long volleys.

Only bad thing I've read so far is that in the career mode, sets are only 3 games instead of 6. Hopefully that will change as you progress though, otherwise it's not much of a sim if you can beat an opponent 3-1, 3-1 and be done.

Correct. If you attempt a high risk shot, you can get unforced errors. But if you don't attempt them, and just tap the button, apparently they always go in. I'm assuming that the tapped shots will most likely get returned every time though. We shall see.
